Hello,
I recently had a transplant done in Turkey at a popular hair clinic named Asli Tarcan on August 28th (about 16 days ago)x The procedure was 6,000 grafts with the donor combination of the back area of my head and the area below my chin (beard) to be placed on hairline and crown.
About 30mins after the transplant I had constant slow bleeding above my hairline at the upper right side. The clinic told me not to worry but I ended up coming back to the clinic later that night when I noticed the bleeding wouldn’t stop.
They put antibiotics on it and it seemed to at least slow down the bleeding. The bleeding stopped in the morning. I had to get on the plan back to US same day.
Day 0 (Post OP)
Fast forward 15 days later. I’ve been shampooing and using the clinics provided creams each day so just about all of the small scabs have fallen but I was left with four larger scabs. I firrst believed it was just dried up blood and my hair transplant assistant (employee at Asli Tarcan) also gave me a verification that the dried blood should now be easier to get rid of. So I used baby oil and water to try to soften the areas but as I was drying after a wash An area of my skin (blacked ) had peeled off. I was left with an open wound and putting Neosporin on It.
Yesterday, I started noticing some yellow oozing from some of smaller scabs and the right scab. I did some shampooing and a bit more Antibiotics/ Neosporin repetitions and was actually able to dissipate some the two larger ones on the sides . Wich led me to believe I have a mix of some dried up blood with small scabs and Necrosis in the middle?
Day 15 Post OP
Now: I’ve been in contact with my Asli Tarcan assistant waiting for their nurses to respond to my case. I’m also very much much considering to go to a clinic here in LA. I’m just concerned about them charging me a lump sum for something that may be treatable.
Update: The yellow ozing has stoped from the smaller scabs but there’s still light oozing in the Middle. Neosporin and washing has been seeming to be helpful with stopping the smaller infections.
Has anyone else been through this kind of experience and is there any recommendations for healing?
