Thanks very much to all the honest votes that i got it ment alot i really mean that, also to Scarred5 who is a total stand up bloke.
I didnt post on other forums and ask for people to vote for me i think the photographic evidence spoke for itself who really was in need of a repair. Also if you had read what this has done to Scarred5 life this guy needed some help.

I feel good in myself this morning, and my advice to young people who suffer from male pattern baldness is go to a good Barber and shave it off.It will stop you from a lifelong feeling of regrets...

It is a shame all nominee`s could not have the pro bono work as i`d like to help everyone being a hairloss and repair patient myself. In reality its not fair to ask BHR this as helping the winner is a great gesture.

The ISHRS have a pro bono program where anyone can apply,it can be found on their website.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in this pro bono offer.

I have a feeling that you guys will have your situations corrected in the near future. As this site grows there will be more offers from generous clinics and also members here are very giving. Keep the chin up and stick around and things will likely fall into place.

This is a very young site and already now we have 2 members that received/going to receive probono work. That is pretty damn awesome. Bullitnut was the 1st and he has proven that he truly appreciated it by hanging around as a valued member to help others and also document his story.

Hats off to both SMG and BHR for their very generous probono offers and support of this site. I know that other clinics also do probono work too that just sometimes doesn't get the press but nonetheless a very nice gesture indeed.

After reading some of the posts, I really had a hard time sleeping last night.

I think that in the end everyone that participated will be helped and there should not be any hard feelings. We will find out soon enough.

I have been posting on various hairloss boards for at least 10 years. I post to help inform others about what can go wrong with hair transplantation, and tell them my story. I try and do it in a civil way. I also like to post about health issues and what €™s wrong with our medical system. My posting should not be perceived of as doing something out of character.

First and foremost I posted the link about the BHR offer to bring attention to what they were doing. People in the hair loss community need to know. Scarred you and I have talked, and you know that after all these years of research, BHR would be the only clinic that I know could really help me. They have the experience in fue along with body and beard hair that repair patients need. I really feel it €™s a place of honesty and integrity and this is not a sudden revelation. I wish I could say the same about most of the clinics I have dealt with and consulted with here in the USA, excluding the Shapiro Medical Group in MN who were very helpful.

Scarred I applaud your tenacity, traveling all over the world to rectify your situation. I just couldn €™t do the same. With some of the doctors you mentioned I saw so many red flags. I just sat around and waited, up until now. BHR would have been the clinic I chose, even without the pro bono offer. I believe you know this from our conversations. Even if I were offered pro bono work by some of these other doctors, I would have refused.

Scarred I thought about what you posted, about taking just one day, and I was okay with doing the same. I just didn €™t think it was right for me post it. This doesn €™t mean you were wrong to post this offer, it €™s just the way I felt about it. I thought that the clinic should be the one to decide this, and that I should not dictate to the clinic. I appreciate their generous offer, and I felt they should do what they think is best for both the patient and the clinic.

I try to lead a normal life, becasue that is what I choose. I could easily have this situation make me become a recluse, to constantly wear a hat, and not go out and meet people but I choose not to. That doesn't mean it's easy. I just try to not let my stiuation have that kind of power over me.

Zion, most of the people from the boards I consider to be friends. This is because we have been interacting for such a long time. They know my story, and I am also familiar with their situations. In fact some of the messages I got were that they couldn €™t vote for me, because they didn €™t think I was the one that needed it most. I always responded with, they should vote for whom they thought was the best choice. I think this was reflected in the final tally. In the end, the percentages were close to the same as throughout the whole voting process. I don €™t want there to be any hard feelings because I don €™t want to win like that. I sent you a message about a week ago offering to talk on the phone. Because it helps to support each other. I still feel the same, I don €™t want to leave others behind and I hope that we are all helped and I believe that is what will happen.

Zion, there are no sour grapes, and I can understand the disappointment. We are all in a difficult situation but I'm sure this will all work out. There is no need to apoligize, but I appreciate it.

Zion I got your PM, but Monald I never received your e-mail. Try the PM function, thanks.

I pledge all of my 5 votes to transfer to zionaxel. Then it will be an exact tie of 34. I know that probably is not possible, but I am offering if it is.

Well, its good to see such gracious losers. Keep your chin up gents, your repair time is yet to come but that by no means it wont be here sometime soon. Thanks again to BHR for having this kind of forward thinking, making this kind of offer, and letting the community choose who gets chosen to be repaired. Everyone has acted in a professional and supportive manner so its onward and upward from here on. I, like many others, am looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Get your passport ready topcat

Dear All,

Thank you all for taking the time and participating, it was never going to be easy to make a choice looking at the candidates, but as hard as it was to choose have a thought how hard it was for those waiting to see if it was them.

Obviously from the voting three people stood out and took the majority of the votes, with each and all being deserving cases. Each case is demanding in their owns rights, repairs are not just medically challenging but also very psychological and as we said earlier one aspect that was always going to be important to us is we can tangibly improve someone €™s wellbeing by working with them to assess goals and expectations against what can be done in reality.

We had to set guidelines when making this offer otherwise it would not have been possible to administer, after the voting closed Dr. Bisanga looked hard at the three cases that turned out to be so close to each other; Topcat being the front runner but Scarred and Zion on his tail. No one could have determined the voting or how close it could have been.

Topcat has very generously and totally unselfishly given a day €™s surgery up if he were to need, have to say a very decent gesture on his behalf as the frontrunner. With this in mind we are happy to also offer Scarred a day; it must be understood this is under the remit of what can be achieved for each of them. Zion is no less deserving but does hold many more complications than the other two. We have spoken at length and agree for Zion's best interests there is potentially a very long road ahead and before we embark on anything he and us need to ensure it is a road worth starting on. We offer the pro bono to Zion also with the understanding we are looking at the long term and after we meet and the doc makes a proper assessment.

Thanks again to everyone, especially bigmac and hairlossexperiences for allowing us to hold the offer in the first place.

After the contest I felt like I was getting into a life boat while I left the rest behind on the Titantic.I feel much better now. What goes around comes around and I truly hope the good that the clinic is doing comes back to them.

I also really think it's important for each us to post long after the procedure. Regardless of the results, everyone should know that the clinic did the best with what they had to work with, and that each person was grateful for the generous offer. You have my word that I will still be around long after the procedure to make sure this happens.

I know that personally I am very limited in what can be achieved. I have consulted with quite a few clinics over the last 10 years, but I never walked away having a good feeling. If anyone can help me it will be BHR. After speaking with Phillip I have a very good feeling and I am very confident that an improvement can be made.

Thank you, Dr Bisanga, Phillip, and the rest of the staff, I am very grateful.
