Hello to all , I have a question hopefully docs or patient reps, past patients can shed some light on. if a patient has work done on only front third does he or she have the risk of getting shockloss in midscalp or crown area, where NO grafts are placed. thanks for reading.

It would be rare to get shockloss in those areas if no grafts are planted there. You'd be very unlucky.

As said, very rare to have there but the doctor would inject probably epinephrine in the donor also and as long as not too high then should not effect the crown and as said for frontal placement should not usually effect non placed areas. I have never seen it happen in non treated areas but have heard of it but is in the minority of case.
