Recepient area redness after FUE.

Hi am currently booked in for a FUE Transplant next month. After looking throughout many different forum users journeys I just have a question that I would like some more information on regarding the recepient area after a FUE.

If I look through some pictures at the 14 days mark post FUE and some pictures look like they have never had an operation, where others are bright red and look poor.

I understand that many people are different but would a deciding factor in this be the quality of the surgery and the surgeon who did the work?

Seems that the people with lots of blood post FUE and massive redness in the recipient areas have been done by non recommended surgeons or done on the cheap?

Would that assumption be wrong on my part and I am I'll informed and is just really depends on every individual??

Redness will usually be worse in the hair line where there is higher density placed and due to neo-vascularity for the newly placed grafts. Also on lighter skinned patients generally it is more prominent and looks worse under flourescent lights and according to the Fitzpatrick skin scale.

Not sure where you are going and all the best for it but they should be able to give you some documentation on post-op healing and hints and tips to speed it. If not please feel free to let me know and I will send you a document I wrote and what I have done after my many surgeries to heal and what works.

Patients heal differently which can affect how the recipient area looks after surgery. Post op care really helps. Spraying the aftercare solution helps with the healing and keeps the area looking clean. When you see lots of blood post op it could be that the patient is prone to bleeding, the incision sites are larger than another clinics, therefo, a bigger would usually bleeds more, during and after surgery the clinic simply do not clean the recipient area before sending the patient away.
One persons recommended clinic may not be a clinic the next person would recommend.

Thanks for the reply guys, I have done lots of research and booked in with Dr arshad at Dr Hair in Dewsbury. He seems to have a good reputation and good portfolio work, thanks to this forum it stopped me from getting a transplant with someone offering unlimited grafts for £2000. Even though your conscious knows that it's a "too good to be true deal" your heart can sometimes suck you in towards it which it has done with others before.

No patient has unlimited grafts. Maybe a better term is, as many grafts we can safely harvest without doing damage to the donor area and wasting grafts unnecessarily.
