Redness on recipient area and recovery expectations

Hi everybody,

I had a hair transplant of 1300 grafts around my hairline 4 weeks ago. I still have redness in the recipient area and the hairs are all still there like stubble.

When can I expect the redness to go? And should I expect the stubble to keep growing? I have fair hair with quite low density so the redness is quite exposed.

I am trying to work out if I can expect things to look quite normal soon. If not, I may need to bite the bullet and tell people. I have been wearing a hat because I was embarrassed about telling people.

Thanks for any guidance.

All depends on your skin type. If you have very fair and sensitive skin it stays longer

Yes, I have sensitive skin and blonde hair. Are we talking months potentially?

No one can actually answer your question. People heal differently. Your redness could be gone in a few weeks or linger for months. Do you have any pictures to show your HT and the redness?
