Hey Guys,

i received the pre-op and post op photos, thanks Janna ;)

I have uploaded them in my gallery. Our main goal was to excise my wide scar which Dr. Ron did an absolute brilliant job. The attention to detail throughout the whole surgery was world class. And im still surprised how pain free those injections were, love that massage tool! My scar was completed removed and we got just under 1100 grafts.

The majority of these grafts were placed in my frontal third. Approx 200 grafts were placed in the back right of my crown. This was the part i was self conscious about,as this part would be most noticable when viewed from the side. The doctor also rounded off my hairline nicely as i felt my right side wasnt as symmetrical as the left. Dr Ron is really really easy to talk to and it made me comfortable asking him to do these tweeks to hairline and the grafts in the crown.

When the scar heals, i definitely plan on going back to SMG. We hope i have 2000 grafts remaining via strip and these can be used to address mid scalp and some in the crown.

Overall i am absolutely delighted with my decision to go with SMG. To achieve my goal, it was definitely the right decision to excise the scar in the first surgery and then go for more grafts the next surgery. And i have the great consultations from the SMG team to thank for this.

On evaluating my results, i must state that im currently not taking medication and this should be taken into account.(personal choice)

I will continue to update my progress, thanks very much again.

After my phone Consultation with Matt Zupan in Shapiro Medical I was confident in my decision. I €™ll always remember the opening of that conversation with Matt. I thought I would need only a few minutes consult as ive had 2 HTs previously. And wow was I surprised the consultation lasted an hour, gave me a lot to think about that evening and then we had another consult the following day.

Ha--a short consult with Matt?? He loves to talk.

Thanks so much for all the kind words guys! Im really excited for the day i can go to the barber shop and not be really embarrassed about my really wide scar. The grafts in my front third and a few in the crown shold make a nice subtle change.

Thanks again guys, its all of your results and posts that helped me make my decision!

Thanks again and have a great weekend!!
