Hi
I am looking for removing my plugs after a bad transplant surgery I had several years ago.
I find it an ungracious, unsightly look to have on the top of my forehead these plugs with low density.
Can anyone advice me on how to remove or hide these plugs ?
Do you think a surgery is necessary or are there other ways to correct my hair and skin appearance such as epilation techniques ?

Thanks a lot for your advice

I had around 250 removed with .8 punch, mine werent plugs but i still had alot of 3 and 4 haired grafts.

I had pitting too,the removal of the grafts removed the pitts so the the skin healed flat.
It will take a few months to heal, not a fun time!

It terms of scarring visable afterwards, its minimal,it wont be perfect but i found my skin was back to around 90% of what it would be normally,so plug removal imo is def the way to go,the plugs can also be used again too.

Can you upload pics of the back, side's and top of your head, you might have good donor to build a hairline futher back also.

I also had plugs similar to these and had grafts placed between them to create a natural look, as Mars says we need to view your donor to really advise the best options for you.

Removal can be done though with a good doctor and the plugs could be re used like mars said so surgery is the best option IMO.

Another surgery may be a viable option, have you any pictures of your donor area.

How does the skin look shaved down? From the picture you have posted it looks pretty good so that is a big plus. If that is the case maybe you can just have laser hair removal.
