Fred its a simulation done in a app, it has its limitations obviously but the purpose is to show you what a difference it makes to get back a hairline.
The fact that you said that it looks like he has lost hair and is shaving is exactly the whole point of the exercise, not everybody wants to get back the hairline they had before loosing it, but going from Norwood 6 to Norwood 2 is a great transformation like Bruce has had here.

These simulations aren't perfect, but they do give you a rough idea what you will look like with a shaved head....this is a good tool imo for anyone who is terrified of shaving their hair whether they want SMP or not.

The app is a good tool for people researching SMP. However does the app give visual appearances of the individual under different lighting? May i suggest;-

1. Outside (cloudy)
2. Outside (sunny)
3. Under bright downlighters just like the ones you get in Restaurants.

Good points Coopman, this might be possible to add to the program, I will ask our IT people if they have a solution for this.

Different lighting as you suggest is a major factor for those having SMP, it will not look the same in all lights or from all angles, we find that anti shine creams can help allot with this as it reduced the headshine from strong lights.

This tool seems like a great idea to me. I believe Vinci is the first clinic to offer something like it. Getting an idea of the look I €™d have if went for the SMP is one of my biggest concerns, so I €™ll definitely use it.
