Given that I'm already Norwood 6, should I still try Propecia + Rogaine? What options would you recommend?

I am taking Finasteride. I think I am about a Norwood 4 but hoping I can stop more hair loss. Finasteride will stop your donor area from thinning out if you're thinking of having a transplant somewhere down the line.
If you've been bald a long time I think the hair is permantly gone and will never grow back but if you still have fine baby hairs they can grow back.
Are you thinking of getting a transplant or just hoping to grow some hair back?

Unfortunately you have some pretty aggressive hair loss for your age.

As Kevboy says Finasteride could stop your donor hair from thinning out, if it works it could halt your loss and possibly thicken those hairs to your sides and back.

The propecia rogaine combination treatment could help regrow any hair that you have lost recently (maybe last 2 years).

Hi Anduser. Sorry to see you have suffered this much hair loss at a young age.
At what age did you begin losing your hair?
As the other members have mentioned the medications may help to prevent any further loss and may regrow dormant and miniaturised hairs. Without them, you could continue to lose more hair or you may stay as you are, no further loss without the use of meds. The side effects are something you need to look into, only a small percentage of users get them but if you fall into that category you may have to stop using them.
Do you have a picture of your donor area? Some people do have very dense donors allowing enough grafts to be extracted so when transplanted will make a nice cosmetic improvement to your appearance but you`re not going to have a full head of hair and could regret having a HT if you`re not happy with the look. There is SMP if you want to have a full head of hair shaven look, this will require maintenance top ups.
What are you wanting to achieve?

My opinion
Dont have a hair transplant for u hairloss
It will look awful
U will get the Bobby Charlton strands of hair look
U could try smp as I think that is the only option mate
Try the temp version first
If u have a hair transplant mate it will constantly be on ur mind weather it looks good or not and for ur loss I dont think u will be happy

I would go for a SMP if I were you. Just put the price for a good clinic.
The result could be amazing.
