Has anyone on here suffered permanent shock loss after using minoxidil based substances? I tried the foam for 6 months applying it twice per day, morning and night. 4 weeks into the regime I began shedding hair like crazy, it looked worse than it did prior, I stuck with it thinking this was the initial shed I'd read about proving its effectiveness. Problem was the shedding continued throughout my usage of the stuff. Finally I had to quit as it was having an adverse effect on my hair, after quitting my hair recovered to some degree, although there is still a noticeable difference. The foam definitely accelerated my hair loss, now I'm unsure if I'd be comfortable trying anything else. I don't want to lose more hair when the purpose of these products is to prevent it. Has anyone else experienced this type of shock loss?
