Should I get HT?

Hello,

I've been beating my brains out for a while about whether to go for HT. I am keen on thickening the front + slightly reducing the curves.

My history of fighting baldness started in 2017. Since then I've been using a minoxidol + RU (I put 1.5-2g RU per 60ml bottle) 1x a day (2x a day for the first year). Looking at the pictures it seems to have helped a little (or at least stopped further balding).

However, there is no significant improvement and I feel worse and worse about it. I haven't tried Fin and don't know if I want to. I have read some negative comments about it.

I have some questions about HT:

- Which technique would be better for me (FUE or DHI)?
- After how long does the redness of the head disappear?
- After reading a few forums a lot of positive comments are for the Metropolmed clinic and Jack strong Hair. I am thinking about clinics in Turkey because they are reasonably priced. I cannot afford the treatment in Poland. Do you have some legit suggestions?
- With the option without cutting the hair to HT (donor can be cut) is the graft strongly visible? I would prefer others not to know about the transplant.

It does look as though you’ve gained a little hair but the important thing is that you feel the hair loss has stabilise. Only a small percentage of people suffer sides from Finasteride. You won’t know unless you try it. There is oral minoxidil as an option which has its own side effect warnings.

1. Fue and DHI are the same. DHI refers to a graft placed into an i planter pen, then the pen is used to punch into the scalp. Once in the correct position, a button is pressed on top of the pen that inserts the graft into the scalp.
Implanter pens can be used as explained above or a pre made incision/cut is made in the scalp. Then the pre loaded pen is inserted into this incision and the graft released by pressing the button on top of the pen.
FUE means Follicular unit extraction which is the graft being removed from your donor source by an FUE punch.
Any other add ons to the name FUE are different tools used in the planting process. Unless it’s ice fue which is stupid.

2. Redness can linger for months. You have fair skin which is usually the worst. Keep your hair long enough and a comb forward could work at cincealment.

3. I’ve not really heard much about those clinics. There are a number of Turkish clinics on here you can check out and contact to see what they offer.

4. The grafts will be visible for the first 2 weeks. They may all fall out after that, some may continue to grow or if you’re extremely lucky, the majority continue to grow.

Thank you for an answer. I'm thinking Finasteride but the question is if the hairs will regrow or now.
I want a HT to hide the low amount of hairs at the top. Is my case acceptable for HT? I assume every clinic will say yes to get a new client
forgot to mention. I'm 29

Your donor looks good and should provide enough grafts if you were to go ahead with a HT.
Unless you try Finasteride you’ll never know if it will work or not.

Hi Alius,
I believe that you should be looking into a solid plan. Hair transplantation will obviously be a part of the plan.
But, we should also look into an effective way to stabilize your hair loss, which seems not to have been very succesfull upto now.
