The scope of hair transplantation

A hair transplant is one alternative to be considered as a way of counteracting certain forms of hair loss. Over the past decades, hair transplantation techniques have progressed continually, with the treatment scope not just becoming increasingly wide, but also much more successful and better tolerated by patients.
Thin hair, bald patches (for example on the back of the scalp), a receding hairline, a "tonsure" or high temples are all areas where a hair transplant can help, restoring hair and achieving natural-looking results. Thin eyebrows or eyelashes, a lack of body or beard hair, or existing scarring can also be treated through the transplantation of one's own or somebody else's hair in such a convincing way that the results look completely natural.

A hair transplant can give a patient a new lease of life. This is one of the reasons why an in-depth consultation needs to take place before treatment begins, and for the subsequent treatment to be carried out by an experienced and competent physician.
