Hi all, I'm still reseraching have a lot of questions. I know many people start with a HT and then go back for more as they bald further.....even with meds. If you get to the stage where you could do with more surgery what are your options?
• How would it look if you just left it? (I know that's a very variable question, but on the whole).
• Can you just shave it, like many guys do, or when you go really short is it obvious that you've had a TP because the hair looks different, or the pattern of baldness looks different?
• What are your options if your first HT fails to take? Would that mean a 2nd would be likely to fail as well?
• How often do HT's fail to take, and how much of that is down to the skill of the surgeon rather than the patient's genitics etc?
* Also, what happens as you age. How likely is it that the hairline the HT gave you isn't natural for an older guy who would likely have receded a little (I know not everyone does recede).
Im just thinking ahead to the future, to ensure I don't have regrets.
I'm planning on going with Dr Reddy, who appears to be pretty good. I've seen his IG results (of course posted by himself), and I think I read of one person who went with him and wasn't happy, but that was going back many years and they then went on to say go to Turkey instead, which makes me question their comments about Reddy. Anyone know what his 'worst' results come look like?
I'm particularly concerned about donor area scarring as I like my back and sides foil razored to grade 0 (so shorter than clippers no guard, which is aboit a 0.5). Apparantly I only about 1200-1500 grafts, and it's only fill my front out. Not looking to lower hairline or fill recessed temples too much.
Any thoughts or advice welcome. Sorry, I have a zillion questions.
