Traveling to Europe from the US for a Hair Transplant

I am thinking of traveling around Europe and having a Hair Transplant while I'm there....... Is there a certain type of visa I will need? My buddy said I can go on a Medical visa but I'm not sure if that works as I'm planning on traveling for several months.
Has anyone from the US travelled this way? If so what visa did you go for?

For HT, I dont think you would need a special medical visa. I will travel to another country for my HT but I will just get a tourist visa.

touristic visa should be enough for your purposes.
