Hello everyone joined today as I`m considering a hair transplant so I would like to know which UK hair transplant clinic you recommend I use? There seems to be an overwhelming amount of clinics to choose from which makes my decision a difficult one. I`d like to have FUT as I need as many grafts as possible for £7000 which is the most I can afford.

Hi Bobby, welcome to the forum. There are many clinics to choose from which is why you need to keep researching. A good place to start is the doctors sections located here

Once you finalise the clinics you like have some consultations and try to speak with patients and check out the results too.
All the best.

Hi Bobby welcome to the forum, as a heads up the clinics who post on this forum in the UK are Ziering, Farjo, Vinci and DHI, they all have sections in the doctors part.
Whats your hairloss story dude, have you any info/pics etc so we know how extensive your loss is. Hairloss sucks but youve come to the right place.
best wishes bn

Hey Bullit thanks for the info. Norwood 2 ish right now with re electing temples and hairline looking at Fue to fill them in.
Would you say Fue is the best approach right now?

Hi bobby. There are a number of things to consider if you're thinking about a hair transplant. As Bigmac suggests, try to arrange some consultations as there's no substitute for a face to face examination of your situation. A number of issues will be discussed in a consult such as your age, degree of hair loss, family hair loss history, quality of your donor hair, and preventative medication (finasteride, minoxidil etc).

FUT and FUE each have their own advantages/disadvantages and once your situation is assessed, you'll be better informed for which method would be best for you.

Does anyone know who the doctor is at the Glasgow clinic? They are mentioned on here but not many results to view.

Dr James Donald McKelvie
Dr Sergey Fedorov

Those are the listed doctors on their website. Dr Lupanzula and Dr Eberson have previously done work at the Glasgow Clinic but no longer I believe. They are both reputable so you'd like to believe the current surgeons are also reputable?

Taking a slow approach researching thoroughly before I make a decision.

Very sensible Bobby. Certainly not something that should be rushed.
