I did my hair transplant with Vera Clinic in Turkey in May of 2022. A year and a half later, I couldn't be any happier with the new lease on life that Vera has given me.
Before embarking in my hair transplant journey, I did my full research. There are hundreds of clinics in Turkey offering the same thing but there are no guarantees of how good, how efficient, or even how legit they are. It wasn't long before I found Vera as one of the best, if not the best clinic in Turkey for hair transplant. So good in fact that they won the European Award in Medicine for Hair Transplant Category in 2021. When I learned about that, I didn't more encouragement. I contacted their office via whatsapp and soon enough, I was on my way to Istanbul.
Vera treats every client like a rockstar. They pick you up from the airport to your 5-star hotel, which looks and feels like a 7-star. The next day, they bring you again in your own private shuttle bus to the clinic for the surgery. The anesthesia is the most painful part of the whole process. Five to 7 minutes of pain then nothing. Your head (or scalp) will be numb for the rest of the operation. After that, you go back to hotel and rest. The following day, they will bring you again to the clinic for a head wash and check up. Once you are cleared, you can go about your life as normal, provided that you take your meds and follow the do's and don'ts list that they give you.
After my surgery, I stayed one more day in Istanbul then flew to Capadoccia for 3 nights and Bodrum for another 3 nights. I wasn't sore or anything. It was a little uncomfortable because my face was a bit swollen (bloated) for a couple of days which was understandable as my body was healing. Other than that, I didn't feel any pain at all.
Today, I am content and happy with the hair that I got. I appreciate it now more than ever and I become more vigilant in taking care of it, taking vitamins etc to make sure that it's healthy.
I couldn't thank Vera Clinic enough for their professional, efficient, and kind service. Highly recommended. two thumbs up.
