What are the best UK clinics?

I've been losing my hair gradually through my 20s and ready to take the leap.

I came across The Hair Dr (Dr Arshad) which has a mixed bag of results, but some excellent. Have received a quotation from them, however I wanted to ask if there's any other reputable UK clinics? Cost not prohibitive, and I'd rather get treatment here rather than travel.

There are a few UK clinics that have results posted, check through them and look at the various patient posted results.

From reading forum results of Dr Arshard I’d be wary of going to them, the majority of results have required top-ups a year later due to poor growth, he seems to offer these for free but I personally wouldn’t want to take the risk with a finite donor supply.

In my opinion the 2 UK doctors I’d recommend are the Maitland clinic and Farjo.

I’m nearly 10 months post procedure from Farjo and everything has gone well.

Have lots of consultations if you can and take your time with making a decision.

I meant the majority I have personally seen on the forums, there could be lots of successful ones I haven’t seen.

We’re all just giving our opinion and hopefully it helps the OP get lots of consultations and do lots of research before making a decision. Better to be cautious in this industry.

OP has a big decision to make and I’d hate for him to have, as you put it, ‘less than desirable results’

I’ve been one of the patients whose had a top up to take my 1st procedure from 95% to 100%. For me and in my opinion the clinic have been nothing but professional and supportive. I’ve been adding my results from the top up in my journey thread and will keep posting so everyone can see how my growth is coming on. I’ve also started using the new fin/minox spray that Dr Arshad formulated.

When i have a touch up on my hairline probably next year, the UK clinic i have chosen as my preferred option is by a process of elimination.

Eliminating the Clinics that have poor results is the easiest. Why take a gamble, you only have a limited number of grafts.

Therefore those Clinics that have documented online cases by patients that have poor yield, poor hairline design and needing top ups due to poor yield or poor design is the easy part.

That leaves me with 3 clinics that i will choose from. There are a few others that i have found no bad reviews from, but i like to see consistent results based over 5-10 years.
