What is about Cosmedica clinic?

Hi everybody!
Tell, please, is a good clinic or not? I gonna go to Cosmedica Clinic in the future time, but I have no enough information. Just I read a lot forums and visited many clinic sites, but everywhere a price is more expansive than this one. I can €™t understand why is cheaper? They can offer to transplant a maximum of grafts for cheaper price, but in other clinics a price is much higher. Is it worth to contact with Cosmedica Clinic?Thanks in advance!

Not so long ago I started to find information of hair transplantion. And, of course, I would like to have a hope for good result after operation. Just I read other forums about clinics and doctors and information is very defferent. I was surprised a little when I see at Cosmedica site that clinic gives 10 year guarantee. My first message I sent to one of clinics in Antalya and they gave an answer to me that they give lifetime guarantee, that the hair will grow and not fall out How can be that?

Different clinics/surgeons perform surgery different with different results being achievable, hence all clinics will give you a slightly different assessment as to what they can achieve based on the skill of their surgeons/team. As for the 10-year guarantee vs lifetime guarantee. Let me ask you this question. If in say 15 years time the surgeon retires or dies (heaven forbid) or if he sells up etc. How will your lifetime guarantee work then.........

I am agree with you about guarantee. I only asked you, why is that. I understood what you mean.
What does the guarantee give for 10 years?
How long does the transplanted hairs live?
Is it necessary to take any medications after transplantation for hair restoration and growth? I read somewhere people wrote they took Biotin over one or two months before transplantation. What are the requirements in Cosmedica Clinic before transplantation?

The guarantee covers any fault with the FUE procedure carried out by Cosmedica and in any case that the overwhelming majority of the new implanted hair does not grow. We would consider that to be a "low result" As with any hair transplant carried out at any clinic the statistics show that there is around a 95% success rate even if the procedure is carried out without fault. So every clinic will or at least should have, from time to time a low result. We take pictures before and after surgery and ask all patients to send us progress pictures at 1, 3, 6, 9, and 12 month intervals. This will allow us to review all of the information and then Dr Acar will make his decision as to if it is indeed a low result. If this is deemed to be the case then cosmedica will offer the patient a second follow up surgey free of charge. A full 12 month period post op will be required as not everyone gets their results at the same time and we have seen this take as long as 18 months for a full result to be achieved. Indeed the crown, in our experience, can take up to 18 months for a full result In any case.

Also please consider that everyone's results will differ due to various factors unique to them as a person. However you will be told what results you are likely to achieve in the pre consultation with Dr Acar before you pay and have surgery. About gгarantee, you described me everything clearly and now I have no questions. I understand that transplanted hair should undergo a long period of restoration after a surgery. I am ready to go through this experience. Of course, I am worry, because I wouldn €™t like to have a sorrowful result and I understand it will depend on my body only, how my transplanted hair will grow in new place, in my case. I €™m a little scared, because I need to make two transplantations. I just have an extensive baldness (Norwood 5/6). I also agree with you that everyone's results will differ due to various factors unique to them as a person. I am very glad and thank you that you explained me that moment, when doctor €™s final assessment on the day does not meet with my own expectations then there is no obligation or complications and I will simply be asked to pay for the hotel and transfers (at cost). Nobody explained me this moment before, when I wrote to the different clinics. I know a hair transplant will place additional hair into the scalp but will not halt or reverse the effect of male pattern baldness which can, in most cases be progressive. I hope my baldness is stopped
I saw many results and read a lot of infos, but it €™s difficult to give an assessment for myself how I will look in the future, in my case But the people's results are very good. And I €™m glad that they are happy! I just want to believe that everything will be fine!

Don't hesitate at all. I researched hair transplants and had a few consultations in the UK before I chose cosmedica in turkey and am so glad I did. I chose the VIP package where Dr Acar performs the slit incisions which gives maximum density possible. I Managed to keep alot of my transplanted hairs too which I believe is down to the care they take while harvesting them and transplanting them. Speak to Mike he is a down to earth guy and just wants the best for you, there is no pressure whatsoever. It took me 10 years to chose a clinic and take the plunge. You are in safe hands believe me.
