Hey,

I’m really struggling where to contact for an appointment. There are so many places in Turkey that say ‘they offer the best’ etc, but I also know that their hygiene quality etc is of a lower standard than the UK... and there are a bunch of horror stories of botched jobs.

where do people recommend going in turkey for a transplant ?

That's the golden dollar question.

Your best bet is to spend lots of hours researching the subject and dont limit yourself to Turkey.

You need to find a Surgeon who has hundreds of documented patients on online forums such as this.

If you post some photos of your current hairloss situation with clear pics of the top, back and sides of your head. Confirm your age and length of time you have been balding and you could get some useful advice.

I think you will find that Turkey has quite a few clinics with very good hygiene standards. Of course, there will be others that cut corners which is why researching extensively is important.
As for botched jobs, you will find them in every country.
Check out the clinic and patient result sections, take your time and have a few consults with clinics you like. Don`t be seduced by the price, a too good to be true offer of unlimited grafts for 2 conkers and a plastic frog. Look at results, patient feedback, track record.
