Who is more to blame - untrained doctors or patients refusing to research

On various platforms - 1. talking to doctors in ht conferences,2. talking to prospective repair ht patients,
in these 2 events specially, I don't know who is more to blame - the untrained (maybe greedy) doctor, or the bargain hunting/greedy patient.
I am not talking of first time patients who accidently trusted a self acclaimed ht doctor. Nor the untrained doctor who does a bad ht and realizes he should not operate on the patients further till he gets comprehensive training.I am talking of a patient who got 2 supposed strip surgeries, 2 so called fue, a so called stem cell and mesotherapy - I could see a depleted donor and maybe 1200 hair at max in the recipient. And he was still considering thediscount offer he was being offered for laser and robotic fue. Kismet! I said to myself and told him not to go any further and I will not treat him till I believed he had done proper research.
As you know we encourage those looking to get hair transplants to meet past patients who have already got ht and interact with them before making any decision.
But the sad part is when I meet some patients who have undergone really bad ht, a lot of donor wastage and still do not learn even from personal experience.
In our free seminar I had the sad experience of meeting 4 people today who had not only bad ht but almost depleted donor and were still thinking of offers like "unlimited hair for $100".
On my part, I refuse to treat these patients and tell them to research on the discussion forums for an year atleast.
But it is sad to see in this era of online knowledge access that we have more bad hair transplants then ever before.I think prospective patients are equally if not more to blame.
Any advise and suggestions on this situation would be welcome.Regards, Dr.A

Some patients are that desperate they will try anything, especially if they've had bad work done and need repairing. Some patients just have not got the funds so go with what they can pay for, cheaper is not necessarily a bad thing as there are good doctors offering cheaper rates BUT there will be a heck of a lot of unscrupulous scoundrels out there who don't care about the patient seeing them as a conveyor belt of cash that keeps on going.
Research is the key as nothing is 100% BUT if you use a clinic with a good track record you're improving your chance of meeting your own expectations.
Ps, there are doctors out there charging way more than others and they produce crappy results.
I paid a premium price a decade ago without researching, ended up being screwed over by an unscrupulous consultant and having my head messed up. Thankfully I had enough donor to seek repair surgery which has rectified the shoddy work I got.

After reading this bizarre post I would like to say 2 things.

- First, learn to write english using proper punctuation and paragraphing. It's utterly messed up that a doctor can't write properly.

- Second, for you to put blame on patients that have been fooled into bad hair transplantation is even more messed up.

Why would it surprise you...............you have those that claim to be doctors tattooing heads and of course they have worked this out in their mind as being perfectly acceptable.

It does not dawn on these individuals that maybe this is the wrong thing to do...............and that's it in a nutshell....................that the thought doesn't enter their mind as it would be for someone I would consider normal.
