Hi, it’s been a long while since I last posted and here I am again, hopefully for the last chapter of my hair transplant journey,

Ive had 3 FUT hair transplants with Dr Feller NY prior to my current FUE surgery,

HT 1, 2800 grafts, front third, 2005

HT2 2700 grafts, hairline tweak, mid scalp, 2007

HT 3 crown, mid scalp, 1800 grafts in 2010

SMP into the FUT scar November 2024

I’ve just had HT no.4 with Dr Grahame Shaw, I had 2923 grafts via FUE, the whole procedure went very well, the plan was to address the crown and then fill in the hairline a little more and work backwards filling in the blanks with the remaining grafts, I was thrilled that Dr Shaw suggested that we could lower my hairline a little, so all in all the surgery exceeded my expectations, I arrived at 8:30am and was finished by 5:30pm. Just the waiting game now. I believe a 0.75mm punch was used for extractions.

Details of HT 4

Total grafts: 2923 grafts with singles: 755, doubles: 1275, triples: 696, quadruples: 107 (5821 hairs in total) + mix of 90 grafts added in the end.

Sapphire blades: 1.2mm and 1.3mm

Surgeon: Dr. Grahame Shaw

Technicians: Thurya, Kate, Marzena, Ridha, Eniye.

I look forward to seeing the result. How does the back look now? Is the scar concealed again?

Hi, yes the scar is now covered, also it looks like I’ve dodged shock loss from both the recipient and donor, I’ll probably post some update pics at the 3 month mark.

Great to hear. It would be great to see some photos of your progress.
