Prohairclinic Scalp Micro Pigmentation
Working in an area with previous FUE and strip can be tricky.
This patient from France had 2 previous hair transplants by FUE and FUT at another institute. As you can see the scarring of the FUT(strip) is a typical linear scar. The scarring of the FUE procedure is in the form of white dots. We assume that a 1.0 (or larger) instrument was used, causing the scarring.
Working around the scar:
Technically it may sometimes be nearly impossible to extract hair follicles via FUE close to a strip scar. The grafts that are close to a strip scar are often angle distorted, meaning that under the skin they do not follow the normal path. This can cause unacceptable transaction rates. Therefore we will stay away from this area in order to preserve the hairs that are needed to cover the scar.
Working between FUE scars
In this case the white dot scarring is much larger, caused by large FUE tools. We have to respect the natural distribution of the hair and therefore our extractors are cherry picking very carefully in between the previously make Punch dots. Our experience and protocols are created so that flexibility is possible and an intelligent extraction is possible. Look at the picture an notice how the extraction pattern was nicely adapted.
