Ziering hair transplant

I was recommended to start a new post after posting the query below on another thread. Is this upfront full payment request usual? I did query this but it was confirmed that full payment is required and that if bloods come back as an issue they would offer a full refund, no question.
HiJust had first consultation with Ziering. Have booked procedure but wanted to know if there was anything that concerned you about the whole process? I was happy with the consultation and paid a deposit to book procedure. Then a week later I was requested to pay the full amount up front, a month before the procedure, or I would lose my booked slot! I feel pressurised now as this had not been explained to me at the time of booking. Why do they need to do this? £1000 deposit should surely cover any up front costs? Am I being overly concerned? I haven't even had the blood tests yet to see if there is an underlying problem. I really need this procedure but this all feels a little worrying.

Most clinics ask for a non refundable deposit, not the whole amount upfront. If it's their policy I'm sure you will be fine. Contact them to ask why they need the amount in full.

Hi Jennie, I am sure that this is simply their procedures we did collect payment and week before the surgery in the past simply because we didnt want to deal with payments on the surgery day, sometimes the cards where stopped due to fraud prevention or other problems and the patient would become stressed and sometimes it would delay the start of the surgery so I see where they are coming from with this.
You should have a clear terms and condition sheet with this and you should be fully refunded if you are not a candidate after having blood test or other similar analysis deposit or full payment regardless.
Good luck with your hair restoration, I hope you get a greet results.

A lot of clinics collect payment days or weeks prior to surgery. It just depends on each clinic.

My member is cooler than NN's
I am 99% certain that Dr Feller asked me for a large deposit when I first booked and the balance at least 4 weeks before my actual HT.......

Not sure what the refund policy was....
It was over 6 years ago... Have trouble remembering what happened last week :)
But am sure I was quite surprised on the requirement re paying !!
