Looks a bit low density to my very inexperienced eyes (only 2000 grafts?), also considering the bald spot at the crown. Can I ask where did you have this done?

Hi, Dr Farjo in Manchester did the procedure, i plan to have 2-3 more hts, the last one being beard hair to fill in .

Dr Farjo actually covered a large area with 2000 grafts. You still have more growth to look forward to if you're 7 mos post op.
Looks like great growth so far. Best wishes on your future procedures!!

The growth looks decent at 7 months. Being totally bald you`ve covered a large area with the 2000 grafts. This design will give you a hairline with some thin density behind that should give a good illusion looking at you face on. It will create a base for your next 2 transplants.

Thank you Bigmac, again, really appreciate your comments. May I ask, what your opinions on beard hair to make the top and crown look denser?

Do you take oral min and/or fin at all? It could possibly bring back some hair and help with the 'illusion' that the HT is doing.

I see what you're saying but oral minoxidil is such a powerful drug. Main thing is your happy with your progress director. Dr Farjo is certainly not one to push, a very ethical doctor.

ok, so after 7 months is it worth giving minoxidil a go, looking back at our emails, Dr Farjo did say it may help to prolong the hair and thicken it. Do you have much experience with this drug?

Beard hair used in moderation/correctly is a good source of donor to add density.

Beard hairs are quite robust. They can and do add density when placed well.
