SMP in UK?

I have been thinking of SMP. Not had a hair transplant as I've always kept my hair really short anyway.
Looking for a good SMP clinic in the UK. I had toyed with going overseas but as there are normally 3-4 sessions I feel doing this at home would be better.

I'm new to this forum and unclear if this is a sponsored forum or totally independent?
I am looking for recommendations for a UK clinic for SMP.
Thanks in advance.

I`ve heard positive reviews about Brandwood clinic that are based in the West Midlands.

Yes I've seen them. Really pricey. I guess the best is not cheap but almost £2700 for smp is really high.

Damon Ashcrofts work at Bespoke is amazing imo and on par with Brandwood.

I notice he is actually a Brentwood partner. Good to see they are working in the Bristol area as of January 2020

Yes i just noticed that and it's a good thing imo. These three guys are probably the most experienced and ethical SMP guys in the country. You won't go wrong with any of them.

That does seem kinda high if you compare it to a huge body tattoo. I was thinking maybe a thousand.

Agreed it is expensive compared to regular tattooing but i'd rather pay that amount than look like a smurf if i was having SMP and their work is very natural looking....the way i look at it is if you compare it to hair systems and their ongoing upkeep costs then it's pretty cheap in the long run. Make sure you do your research because like Hair transplants cheapest isn't always the best and you could live to regret it.

When our lass can spend £400 getting her eyebrows done it doesn't seem much to me:ROFLMAO:

Prices from 3 decent places range from £1800 to £2600 for at Brentwood.
Most exspensive does not also mean it's the best.(same with FUE etc)
One thing I did notice on Brentwood is that the guy who owns it does not show the best example of SMP in my eyes.
It looks too dark and greeny/blue to me.

He had his scalp burned when he was a child, had scalp reduction, hair transplants, the whole lot. Prob. he had to go darker to achieve a higher level of concealment.

Your talking about the joint owner Simon lane... he needed to have his slightly darker due to childhood burns like Cizinec says and it truly is a significant improvement from his before look which has to be a good thing for the guy...he did openly talk about his situation on a video somewhere on YouTube if it's still there. I personally think hes a good advert for what can be achieved if you've had the misfortune of a bad accident and I respect his decision to speak about it and help others by training to be an SMP artist....Still think these three are the elite in the UK (my opinion anyway), His SMP would look a little better lighter (just my preference) but I'm guessing theres a fine line between what he can get away with and what he needs to disguise the scarring bud.

That would explain the darker scalp then.

I reckon his head looks good in the picture Bobby, bet it's hard for them to avoid the temptation of unnecessary repeated touch ups if they work in the industry though:LOL:. Can see what you mean about darkness though, his is a lot darker than the other guy Damon.

Yes I had no idea he had it darker due to scolding etc.

I am now in consultation with 2 clinics for SMP and anticipate having my first procedure done by end of this month.

I shall post a review and thoughts when done.

I held back but narrowed it down to a guy on the outskirts of London who is well-reviewed and seemed excellent.
I also spoke to Brentwood who have a place in Bristol now, but my gut was to go with the other guy as I liked his results better (on white guys like me).
There are so many good SMP places in the UK but I'd advise anyone to take their time.

The one I chose offered me to come down and watch it being done, with no pressure. For the record it was Jay at elixirpigmentation.com Check his insta too.

I actually sent them a consultation request today, so I'm waiting to hear from him now

He's more active on Insta . He did an episode of the Baldcafe podcast (youtube) too which I found very informative.
Haha yes I know I watched that first then messaged him via the website..

Are you waiting to get it done with him then? It would be good to see the results
