Just got back from Turkey. 29 years old, always had that high hairline and been shedding since my early 20s. Been on and off finasteride the last 7-8 years.

Decided to go with ahd clinic mostly because Hakan Doganay himself places the grafts and it was a decent price. Had a bit trouble with airplane and money transfer but it got solved good so much cred to the clinic!

Had good donor area with a lot of tripple grafts but unfortunately my hair quality is thin. I wanted to strenghten my hairline and fill in the temples. To my dismay i saw that i was also thinning on my vortex. I never knew that because my father has hair there and i have pretty much the same hairline.

Anyway, i dont know that much of placement so other more expeirenced might judge but hopefully they did a good job and we will see in some months:)

Thanks for documenting your journey with Dr Doganay. The work looks nice and refined plus your donor area looks good. That amount of grafts should produce a nice result for you. As for you your crown thinning, are you using any hair loss medications? Finasteride works very well for the crown, it can cause certain side effects but it is the best thing to prevent more loss and possibly regrow dormant follicles.

Oh yea, just re-read it. Watching the football so a little distracted.
Do you think it`s doing anything for your crown? If it stops any further loss, then that is good.

I dont really know, i have an old photo when i was 22 when i started to shed a lot. Like u see, i had thin hair on the crown even then.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Looks very good. 500 grafts would probably sort your crown out but try PRP or Minoxidil to see if it works.

You`ve healed very well. I like the design the doctor has done.
This should look great once you have your final result.
I`ll look forward to following your progress.
All the best.

All looks to be healing well. The redness may linger for a while which is quite normal for a lot of people.

now its a waiting game. Hopefully they will start growing in a couple of months.

Should i start using minox again or wait for another month or so?

Different clinics have varying opinions on when to use Minoxidil after surgery. Sometimes it can irritate the transplanted area.
It would be best for you if you ask your doctor what they advise and follow their post op instructions.

Good result for now.
The hairline looks great, harvesting in the donor area is homogeneous.
Your first hair will start growing in 2-3 months from now. Now you will face the shock loss, dont get frustrated or upset, it is normal. Easy to say, I know...
Good luck and keep us posted.

The donor looks very good. Still quite a bit of redness in the hairline area. Do you apply anything to it?
Did you begin using Minoxidil again?
