Hi Duffman,

This is 11 months progress now. I’m really happy with how my hair looks and the density as well. I can style my hair however I want now. I would definitely recommend going in to speak with Dr Arshad to discuss the different options available for you. Will definitely be worth it.

Hi,

Yeah i did in the first 2 months Or so but this is completely normal. It then started to grow back from 3 months onwards. It’s gradually builds up month on month.

Hi,

This was just a personal choice. I asked if the procedure could be done without fully shaving my head as I was just looking to do my hairline. Dr Arshad was fine with this. They just shaved the back and front so they can extract the hairs and to allow him to do what he needed to do. I suppose it depends on what area you would be having the procedure done. As it was my hairline this was ok it might be different in other cases.

I have been taking finasteride since I have had the procedure done. As it’s been over a year and I have seen the thickness of my hair improve I know take it 1 month on 1 month off but that’s just my choice as I’m happy with the thickness and just looking to maintain how it is now.

Wow @Deanomac10 thats genuinely amazing, I hope you don’t mind me asking do you take that every day when taking finasteride? It’s fascinating to hear 1 month off and then on. Brilliant results.

Yeah I would take it everyday when I’m taking it maybe the odd few days I might forget.

Thanks for the updates so far and glad you're happy with the outcome. Am new here and really considering a HT with Dr. Arshad but my biggest worry is the Finasteride part. Have you experienced any side effects at all?

I am planning on having kids and don't want anything to get in the way of that if you know what I mean lol.
