Seaman volume not as much before i started on Finasteride.

Hi, only been on generic Finasteride for neraly 3 weeks and notice a drop in my seamen level. Was wondering if it was to early for the Finasteride to possibly have an effect on this? How early if all can Finasteride effect seaman levels? Thanks

Of course everybody if different but when I tried Finasteride, within just a few weeks I noticed semen reduction, then I noticed soft erections, then I experienced no semen excretion then I noticed an erection was almost impossible to get. After using the product for about 6-7 weeks I stopped.

luckily all my manly bodily functions came back to normal with no lasting side effects. Like I said, everyone is different.

I felt that if I kept on using the Finasteride, I was going to start growing a virgina and breasts.

Hopefully the side effects don't get as bad for you as they did for me.

If you`re unfortunate enough to suffer sides they can happen quickly. What you describe is a known issue. Some people will persist with Finasteride and find their bodily functions return to normal whilst others may continue to experience the sides. It is a personal choice if you decide to keep at it or give up although some people will reduce their dosage to see what happens. If ok, they increase to the 1mg per day.

You will not grow a vagina from taking Fin that's a ludicrous statement.

For what it's worth my semen became a little shall we say more watery after starting Finasteride....never effected me and I have 3 kids all conceived whilst on Fin so I wouldnt worry about a tiny change in your semen consistency at this early stage, if you get any other issues like failure to get erections etc then yes it could be an issue for you.

Obviously everyones different just trying to add a little perspective dude.

Many thanks bullitnut. Was just wondering if it may be down to the drug or just me being confused with something else going on. I am on 0.25mg Mon, Wed, Friday and so far after 3 weeks no sides other than what i mentiond.

I think a lot of people worry about side effects when they first start them due to reading the many horror stories on line but what you have to remember is that whatever medications you google online there will be bad stories from users pal. Give it a little time and see how you get on is my advice but I'm not a doctor so it's your call pal.

Thats what i thought regarding my low dossage and the short length of time that i have taken it. Just thought i'd ask here to see if anyone experienced the same possible effect after such a short time. I basically take the 0.25mg and don't think about it. Thanks for your wise words.

Mine decreased a little early on but seems ok now plus my hair is growing back.

0.25 mg?
I couldn't get a dose that low. I think here in the U.S. the minimum dosage is 1.0 mg.

I tried snapping the pill in half and it shattered into dust so that wasn't going to be an option.
For the last two weeks I used Finasteride I took 1 pill every other day but by then I think the damage was done so i just stopped.

Hopefully .25 mg's is enough to block the DHT.

I'd be willing to try it again if I could get the lower dosage.

Buy a pill cutter, they`re really cheap or cut with a sharp knife. Only one pill at a time, use it up, then cut the next pill.
