Yes coconut oil is good and i've used it before on skin and esp my face.
Dermol is made for this kind of thing and its had a really good effect. I shaved my head yesterday and it was not to bad.

Are there any places in the UK that do non-permanent SMP? I read that there's ink that gradually gets absorbed and so only lasts around a year.

I was considering getting a hair transplant but have concluded that it's a bit early as (a) I am currently only a Norwood III and (b) I'm not yet willing to commit to taking Finasteride which seems to be essential in maintaining a good result. I think temporary SMP could be a good option in the interim until I get a HT as I am currently using Mane spray and fibres to touch up the crown and front corners but it gets very cumbersome washing it out every time I apply it.

Yes theres DC Micro/ Goldeneye in Bingley bud

Thanks mate.

Have you heard of Craig Bottomley-High (ScalpMicro UK) I saw a video of him on Youtube and seems to get positive reviews. Not sure if he does temporary SMP but I might get in touch and ask.

Highly doubt he does Temp SMP pal but could be wrong, I know he came first in the awards last yr and he came above some extremely talented individuals. Worth asking though dude.

What do you guys think of creative scalps (UK). they seem to use different shades and blend really well, not sure if thats what brandwood do too but yh. The guys up in the midlands look good, although they are a bit pricier, also rail fees going up 3 times would make my treatment £200 odd more.

I`ve not seen any patients from Creative Scalps but their work looks good on their website. If you`re interested in them you could ask if they have any patients you could meet up with to view their results.

I've actually met one of Marc Allen's clients in London believe it or not when I was having a medical appointment for something non hair loss related and we got talking about hair loss whilst in the waiting area (only us two there) got to say his result was phenomenal imo....that was the only one I've seen but it was good I have to say.

Looking at some of Damon Ashcrofts instagram SMP results, i know he is regarded as good... the darker dots do look quite noticeable, not sure if it looks less realistic right after due to healing but yh.

The dots look larger and darker straight after the procedure and shrink and look smaller and a lot more natural once the scabs have fallen and the procedure is fully healed dude. Not trying to big up Damon's work but having seen it numerous times I'm a firm believer him and Paul Clark are the best in the UK.....obviously just my opinion mind but I have seen a fair few results in person dude.

Ah good thats why i wanted to hear. I know they are regarded as good so i was sorta concerned that maybe SMP even at its best does look like that even when healed. In the images of healed SMP's, which ive only seen a few from, they do look very natural. I'm supprised they use the straightafter images on result pages, i imagine its hard to get enough customers to report back after healing but still, its quite a difference.
What do you think of creativescalps? To me they look equally good. They are a lot nearer to me and train fee's do add up. I might still consider seeing Damon up in the midlands, although he hasn't replied to my emails unfortuntely as of yet.

I am intrigued by brandwood's new "3D Scatter Texture" technique, any idea on whether its worth it?

Yeah I've heard of them as mentioned, I don't think you would go wrong with either Brandwood or them to be honest pal as they are both doing great work.

Hi guys, I want to go ahead with SMP but can't decide between Marc Allen and Paul Clark. Does anybody have any knowledge about anything that differentiates them. Anyone know what ink creative scalps use? Or has anyone been with either of them? Cheers

You will certainly get a very good job with Paul Clark. Damon who I represent works alongside Paul as a Brandwood practitioner as well as having his own clinic called Bespokesmp in Birmingham. He has personally known Paul for many years and rates him very highly indeed.
