Afternoon folks, looking for advice on what product I should use, I'm 34 I have slight recession on the temples, I've tried minoxidil foam but don't think it's made much a difference any other suggestions thanks in advance.

Hi Andy.
Minoxidil like the other meds are lifelong commitments, any gains made will be lost if you stop using them. Your hairline looks ok as it is. What about using Finasteride only to prevent or slow down any further loss?

Hi big Mac, yeah I think I should start something to halt the process, I have heard of getting a small procedure to straighten the hairline but don't know if many people who have done this, I'm in the fire service and my concern with going down the procedure route is how long would I need off before i could return to work and obviously need to wear a helmet would the weight/ pressure of the helmet effect the outcome of the procedure.

You could probably have a small unshaven FUE session to fill in your temple corners and add a little density along the front of the hairline (if that area bothers you) Your long hair will help conceal the area. I would say 2 weeks before wearing the hard hat if it`s tight-fitting. Possibly 10 days if loose but best to ask any clinics you consult with.
