Do you think it is transplanted or existing hairs popping through?

I’m pretty sure these are transplanted hairs as they are in places I didn’t have any before

That’s good. You’ll probably be back to your pre op stage pretty quickly. Healing looks good for 4 weeks.

Healing has defo been quicker this time around, which is good. Just need my hair to grow faster so I can start styling it again lol

I found MSM supplements from Holland and Barrett were good for accelerating growth. Everyone mentions biotin now, but I’d say MSM is better. It wont be too long before you have your quiff back.

Hard to tell what new growth is happening. Another month and it should be back to a decent pre-op length.

Looking better with the hair getting longer. The redness looks as though it’s nearly gone, just the odd spot from what I can see. How’s the donor looking?

Donor is looking good I had a few places which suffered shock loss but these are recovering well now. I’ll try and get my wife to take some photos which I can upload

Sounds good. Everything seems to be healing quickly. The smaller size of the surgery is probably helping with the limited shock loss. You know what to expect this time round.

@Baldingman23 Any update & pics of the donor mate?
I had a hair cut Thursday and my barber said the donor area was looking good, I just have a little area above my left ear that has suffered a little shock loss but I think it is now starting to recover slowly. I remember after my surgery I kept getting a little tinkle in this area so maybe a nerve was hit. I will remind my wife to take a photo of the donor area tomorrow.

here is a picture I took the other day to mark 9 weeks

How many grafts have you left? I think another 4 to 6 weeks will have your hair back to where it was and most likely looking better with the new grafts that are growing in.

I’m not sure how many grafts I have left. Dr Arshad did say I had a good donor though. but I don’t plan on having any more HT’s. I’m hoping another couple of months and I’ll be back to styling my hair again with products. I forgot how hard the first 3 months are, I’m just focusing on the end result. Hopefully these new grafts will get me to where I want to be result wise :)

It’s good to hear your barber thought the donor was looking good and that Dr Arshad says you have good donor. Hopefully, this is your last HT, but never say never. Hair greed happens.

Thanks bigmac!! Yep I don’t want to go down the hair greed route, I know it gets some people. I just have that bit above my ear on the left in the donor area that just needs to recover from slight shock loss. I remember I had quite a few injections in that area on my top up as I could still feel the extractions happening. I read that this can effect your donor recovery time frame. I’m applying fin/minox spray to this area also that the clinic sent me

Yea, the injections can cause some shock loss. It should recover just fine. I have seen some take 6-7 months though, so be patient.
Hopefully, the spray speeds the recovery up.
