It is filling in nicely. I bet you can’t wait till you’re able to style your hair again.

Thanks bigmac!! Yep I don’t want to go down the hair greed route, I know it gets some people. I just have that bit above my ear on the left in the donor area that just needs to recover from slight shock loss. I remember I had quite a few injections in that area on my top up as I could still feel the extractions happening. I read that this can effect your donor recovery time frame. I’m applying fin/minox spray to this area also that the clinic sent me
I've had exactly the same from the same doctor. Very consistent (not always great) issues at this clinic.

Could you start your own thread please? This will confirm you are a patient of the Hair Dr. Otherwise, you could be making this up.

14 weeks post top up.

Fresh hair cut today so thought I would post some pictures all with a bright LED light pointing toward me. Hair is starting to fill in nicely. The shock loss above my ear on the left hand side has recovered well, my barber commented on this today. I’m not even at the 4 month mark so bring on the next 8 months.

Looking good. The hairline is fuller and looks natural. Just got to wait for the extra growth and maturisation to happen.
Thanks for the update.

Your hairline is looking good already, particularly in the pictures where you have it in a quiff at the front.

You’re basically back to your pre-op look with the fuller hairline. At 4 months it is shaping up nicely. The following months should provide quite a bit of density as the new grafts grow and mature.

Thanks Bigmac. It seems to be thickening up everyday. It’s great to be able to style it again!!!

Yes, the hard part is over now and having enough hair to do a good hair style makes life that bit easier.

Looking sweet.

What products do you use? I’m struggling with my pre-op wax.

Thanks @Follicly_challenged. Wax is one of the worst products to use on hair in my opinion, especially if you have thin hair like me, it weighs the hair down. I use VO5 volume mouse and dry my hair on cool setting on the hair dryer and then I use TRESemme freeze hold hair spray

The density is certainly increasing allowing you to style your hair nice and trendy. I’d be tempted to sprinkle some fibres in to see how full it would look. The hairline is complete all the way across. Nice youthful look. Mouse is good for styling and holding your hair in place when dry.

Thanks Bigmac. I’ve never wanted to go down the fibres route
