I think it is very important for everyone looking for a hair transplant to have healthy expectations, hence why people doing reviews should ideally show their result in different lighting conditions.

If you were looking at me in this, probably the best lighting I have seen my hair in. You would probably think he has a very dense hairline.

Until you see me in this lighting.

And from the side view.

Its many people also that take a photo from far away. But the thought of this thread its just that I can show what most would probably say a very good result in close to perfect lighting, but I can also show a "meh" result If I decide to post in the worst possible lighting.

Often when you research hair transplants, you see these insane results with just one transplant, most likely their result will look much weaker in direct sunlight, and its normal.

Most, if not all people looking at your first picture would say great result. It`s not until you see it in other lighting conditions and angles that you see the true picture. Your first picture could be passed off as a final result. Another factor is hair styling. We can comb the hair to make it look better or worse. The images that are shown from fRutherford away don`t provide the detail required to make a true decision.

Yeah, theres always a way to make your result look "perfect" or not so good.

A photo in both the worst and best scenario, from further away and close to the camera, I think is good, for the future patients who are going through the forum to have sane expectations.

I see it many times. People aren't professional photographers but with modern phones it’s not too difficult to take pictures in the settings you mention. It’s always good to not comb/style the hair in ways that cover the thinner areas.

When you go for your next surgery to repair this I think you will benefit from some isolated sentinel hairs placed in front of the transition zone. These will create a softer irregular appearance that will mimic your natural hairline.

At first glance your hair looks ok until I enlarge it to see the bigger grafts and it looks thin compared to the hair behind it.

Just saw this on David Beckhams Instagram and his hair line looks very thin. Again, lighting is a key factor in how thick hair can look

Yes it is pretty thin, but in a perfect lighting condition it can look good. I will have a repair surgery in September to add density and to make it look more natural.

I had it done in Turkey at Dr Resul Yaman, he only did incisions so it was techs doing the rest.

I will have a repair surgery in September as Dr Yaman botched my temples and also I need to add some density to the hairline with some more singles in front to make it look softer and more natural as I have a lot of thick grafts showing right now in the front rows.

Beckhams hair changes quite a bit. He is probably on meds, sometimes his hair loss looks quite extensive, then he is back with a full looking head, usually at public events.

That’s why I was surprised with this photo as it’s at the Miami Grand Prix opening thing which would be a very public event.

The simple answer to that is Beckham is quite often using concealers.......quite evident whenever his hair has that "sooty" look.
