12 months after my hair transplant with Dr ashad at the hair DR clinic. Over the moon with the end result. Been in constant communication with the clinic and had check up at 6 and 12 months. No scaring at all, heeled really well which is good for me as I have my hair really short.

Yeah I still have a few in the hair like which I have spoke with Dr ashad about this week. Assured me that he will sort this out for me. From where my hair was to where it is now am very pleased with.

That’s good to hear. How many grafts will you need to sort it?

Maybe 50/100 grafts should be enough.

That is a small touch up. Do you have a picture of the area? When are you planning to have it done?
With it being so small, what’s the plan? No shave extractions is a good option, although it looks as though you get your hair shaved short anyway on the back and sides.

Yeah I basically get a 0 garde skin fade on the side. They said I shouldn’t need to shave my head again but don’t mind if I have to

What does your donor look like right now.

This is one side of my donor area, had my hair cut a week ago. Very little to no scarring

I think your new hairline looks really natural. No one would be able to tell that you’d had a hair transplant!

Thanks. No one actually knows I’ve had one done apart from the ones I’ve told.

So today I got my second transplant as i wasn’t happy with my first one done 2 years ago by the HAIR DR. Il not say which clinic I went to but I paid less and got more grafts and the staff were amazing.
Now after the nurse had shaved my head she informed me that the last surgeon had split my grafts, I explained that I paid £6000 for 2000 grafts. She was shocked and knew exactly what surgeon I had been to. The gaps between the hairs on my last transplant are quite big and some of the hair line didn’t even grow in.
I’ll upload a picture to show you guys. Please choose wisely and do your research.
I’ve seen a number of people who have been to the hair Dr say they had to get a second treatment as the first one was poor.
I was also informed that there was no where near 2000 grafts implanted from my last transplanted. Day light robbery.

Hi mate.

The results on your pictures you’ve posted do look poor. Have the Hair Dr not offered to repair this themselves? I appreciate it might not be an option you’d want to take, considering some of the repairs they’ve done also seemingly not having optimal results.

It is worrying, as myself and some others who’ve had 2nd opinions from different surgeons, are being informed of problems with the Hair Drs work (poor growth and scarring etc). I would be interested to know the actual success rate. I used to see regular positive threads and visibly positive outcomes and growth being produced by the clinic (Early 2020 and prior). I don’t see as many now.

I do hope your 2nd procedure and repair gives you the outcome you want.

Hello mate. Yeah I’ve seen loads of people having to get another procedure due to the HAIR DR poor work. And the fact they charge £3 a graft is disgusting. Don’t know where I’d stand at taking legal advice because it’s an awful Job for £6000

I haven't seen many/any clinics where results were guaranteed (or you were refunded).

Usually you pay for the procedure, not the results.

That said, when I saw your results, I thought they looked good.

It's interesting what the nurse said. Did she mention what a 'split graft' looked like, or what it was? I've never heard the term previously, except where multiple hair follicles were intentionally split to give a more natural result.

Maybe more experienced people on here than me can comment on the second clinics assessment that far fewer than 2000 grafts were transplanted from the post surgery picture to give you peace of mind?

Do you have any pictures following your latest surgery? Perhaps you could post your journey on here?

Yeah they look ok there but I never lost my hair in the middle but he decided to go over it. The have covered them up pretty well before taking photos.

It certainly does look less dense in the pictures you just posted.

I'm terms of placement, I've seen surgeons implant into areas that are in the process of miniaturisation to give a longer lasting procedure.

That may be the case for you. It's difficult to see on your pictures (and without the benefit of magnification that the surgeons have), but you can see from this picture the likely loss pattern, with your mid scalp thinning to leave the 'tuft' of hair in front of weaker midscalp;
