Four month update a bit of progress in the last month hairline defintley starting to look more defined and in the last week had a lot more hairs breaking through especially singles at the hairline.

Also in the last month I've had some one who I work with ask about my hair they said it looks a lot fuller.

The temple corners are filling in nicely at 4 months. A nice confidence booster by your work colleague's comment. Still very early for you but I`m thinking by around month 6 it`ll be pretty dense.
Thanks for the update.

Something i have noticed over the last few days the transplanted hair is curling giving me a weird sort of look hard to capture in pictures will this correct in time??

Can I get a haircut with clippers at this stage with no point of worrying??

Had my first haircut yesterday since my hair transplant something completely different to what I would normally have as never had the confidence to have it this way but now i feel comfortable to try these things out.

Very happy with how the donor area is looking at this length too seems unnoticeable to me.

I like the new hairstyle. Your hair looks great and the donor looks very good.

Final results aren't achieved yet only at 4.5 months

Depends what package you pick he has a basic package where he only does incisions and hairline design or a vip package which is all of the above plus extra
How much does VIP Package cost? and how much is basic? and which one should one pick

So far i am happy with my results but will wait for twelve months before evaluating.

Vip package when I went was 1.25 euro per graft basic was a set fee off around 2500 euros but due to popularity I'm sure they have increased prices for me personally I wanted as much doctor involvement as possible hence I went for the vip package.

I underwent a transplant on the 18/08/2022 consisting of 2100 grafts to fill in the recession on my temples.
Hi Mgre2643,

I remember your story from a while back. Personally, I thought that your hair already looked fine the way it was, and so surgery was unnecessary. However, it's how you feel, and obviously you weren't happy, so I wish you all the best, and hope that you get a good end result.

How is your donor area looking? It looks fine in the pictures, but how does it look in real life? Are any white dots visible? (I ask because, although I would like to undergo surgery myself, the fear of visible donor area scarring has so far stopped me.)

Hi Salazar

The main reason I underwent surgery is because I found myself hiding away from pictures and being I have a young family I just wanted to be more comfortable in a having my picture taken I was fine in everyday life I am not a vain person at all so I still dont no why to this day it bothered me so much and when the opportunity came around to have it done I took it and haven't had any regrets since.

I can confirm my donor area has zero white dots visible and looks as good in Real life as it does in the pictures some of this is probably down to I have only had 2100 grafts extracted but I do I remeber dr gur taking great care when doing the extractions and also that the extractions where taken uniformly throughout the donor area rather than focusing on a certain area.

I agree with Salazar that surgery was probably unncessary. I guess when you are young, it is difficult to resist and you still want these NW0-NW1 hairlines

I can definetley see both off your points for it being unnescary.

When I originally booked it i had long hair and had done probably from the age off 15 or thereabouts around age 17 I realised my hair line was receding and going back.

Approximately one month before booking I shaved my hair down to a grade 2 and was quite surprised at my level of loss in a good way.

Having the long hair probably exgagaterd my loss in my mind as the level off recession was very hard to gauge where it was always covered and hidden.

If I was too off shaved my hair off before booking the surgery and deposit and flights i don't believe I would off gone the surgery route so if anyone is in the same boat as I was try the hairstyle you want before booking you surgery you might be able to come to terms with it and avoid surgery.

The reason I went through with the surgery is I didn't want any regrets everything was prepared and ready I felt if I cancelled I would of always been thinking should of I gone and I did and have been happy ever since.

It's defintley a roller coaster of a journey so for anyone reading this be prepared having the surgery done is the easy bit it's the waiting for the results constantly checking day in day out has it worked has it failed.
