Hey dude,

Thanks for the new pictures;) everything looks bang on how it should be at this early stage....try to remain patient as this ht game is a long but very exciting journey. Regarding the propecia shed, this is common in a lot of people when they first start taking it.

I agree, all looking as it should be at this stage and the shedding is a natural occurrence with Propecia.
Cheers Bm.

Hi guys,
3 month update today and I can't believe how quick the 3 months has gone. I'll be up to 12/15 months in no time. Nothing major to report really, the Propecia shed has reduced a lot (still one or two after a hair wash).
Even though there is no new hair coming through as yet, I FEEL more confident already as I just think "it's a matter of time" rather than "it's only going to get worse".
Couple of hair and scar progress pics attached.

Thanks for all the contributions and well wishes, same time next month!

To quote the photographer - its looks far worse on the picture than it does in real life, it was difficult to find.

I like your positive attitude dude, for some the waiting game is hard but you seem to be coping well. Before you know it the hairs will be popping up everywhere and you will start to forget just how bald you once were. The scar does look good and you have exciting times ahead.

thanks for the update;)

Hi guys, time for the usual monthly update.

Nothing major to report really, still taking the Propecia daily with the 2 a day Regaine applications. I can't believe it has been over 4 months already, it has gone so quick, I have my follow up 5 month appointment with Dr Ball next month so looking forward to getting his view on it all. Any way, pics attached. There is a noticeable difference between these and the preop (post 3) but it is likely to be more down to my shoddy camera and lighting.

Til next time...

Okay, 5 month update. I would say these past weeks progress is starting to be noticeable (to me anyway, nobody else has said anything). I had the 5 month review with Dr Ball who is happy with the progress, especially the effects of the Propecia in the crown area. I am more excited than ever for the next few months to see how it all turns out, amazing how much confidence I have taken from it already. I took a look at the day before images recently and was surprised at the difference already.
Roll on next year!

To duffman - I would highly recommend the team at Ziering UK, everyone I have dealt with (from patient advocate, to technicians to the surgeon himself) has been very professional and knowledgeable.

Comments like these are what it's all about dude....your not even halfway and already your feeling like a changed man confidence wise, people who don't suffer from hairloss have no idea just how low it can make you feel. It's heartwarming to know your on track to feeling so much better about yourself.

Please keep us updated;)
