Well this time exactly 6 months ago, I was just leaving the surgery heading back to the hotel. I would say the last month has seen considerable growth, it really feels like each morning is a noticeable improvement on the last. Long may it continue, I'm really excited to see what the final result will be as I now have no preconceived ideas in mind,

I am not 100% sure but I believe so, Ziering do have other Doctors working in their Birmingham clinic. I requested Dr Ball and travelled to London even though it was much further after seeing examples of his work on this forum.

Hi,
Yes the few family who know about it have commented "it looks thicker" and a few friends (who don't know) have said the same, though it is only those who are suffering themselves (so I guess are more likely to notice). I tell this group it is down to leaving the Alpecin shampoo in for 11 minutes instead of 10 ;)

I think what is in my favour at this time is that most peoples knowledge of transplants comes from celebrity stories in The Sun "news" paper and therefore would assume a hair transplant would be the whole head and because my crown is thin that couldn't possibly have occurred. That and the fact they allegedly cost 30k of course!

7 month anniversary coming up next week, monthly progress pics to follow,

Thats awesome, the Alpecin comment made me chuckle as we all know it wouldn't be the case on here but most people will actually believe it...good story.

I agree with your comment about the HT's in the newspaper and normally the 30k stories would make me angry and frustrated, but this time it is working in your favour)(_:: i never thought of it this way.

Looking forward to the updates and i am glad things are thickening up nicely for you buddy.

best wishes BN

Hi,
Just a quick update for the 7 month mark. Again some nice progress over the month, starting to get really happy with the results now. There are still some thinner areas just above the temples in harsh lights (a.k.a everywhere in my work, grrr), but much, much better than they were. If the next few months can take care of those I'll be a happy man.
These pics are just following a hair cut as well and it still looks quite thick, still no one has twigged!
Cheers guys,

8 months in yesterday and it is still growing/thickening. I must admit it is making me smile, not only when I look in the mirror but FINALLY it showing up well on photos. I have even had a few people notice from recent pics €“ one comments was €œwhere has all that hair come from! € Good old quiff. I think it €™s just a case of trying to find the ideal length for a haircut .
I would have thought that the vast majority of new hair has sprouted now and it is just going to thicken up over the next few months or so?
On a side note, I am quite looking forward to the second surgery for the crown in a year or so, though that has improved from the early days (due to the Propeica)
