I have just read your thread from the beginning to the finish, it sounds like you have had a wonderful experience. Your hair looks great now and the scar looks like it's almost invisible.
I would be more than happy with your result congratulations.

Yeh that really shows the improvement. Your hair seems to have for darker, is that the camera / lighting, or actual change?
I've got my check up with Dr B soon, post 5months. Interested to see what he's got to say. Hoping for the next few months to provide the growth that will provide the real change.

Hi,
It is just the lighting, no actual change, although darkening it is one thing I have thought about (but I am concerned it may be noticeable which may prompt further questions).
I certainly had a bit of panic at 5 months pre meeting Dr Ball but he was able to reassure me. My main problem when comparing with others was because I kept within my existing hairline, it was harder to see the new growth amongst existing hair compared to those who previously had none. 6-7 months was definitely the time it really kicked on.
Good luck with it all,

Hey,
Had my 5month follow up - Dr B was very pleased with the progress so far, and only through examining the before and after pictures that HE took (vs my rubbish ones) only then could I appreciate the difference.
And he made clear that the next few months is when it all happens.
Also noticed that my hair appeared darker (like yours). I can't tell if this is just because my hair is "fuller", but it's a relatively welcome side effect - particular when a few of my friends are starting to count their grey hairs!

Great news, roll on the next few months!

I have my 10 month review in the next few weeks, can't wait to see what the doc thinks - I am really happy with it.

Talking of welcome side effects, my eyelashes certainly seem darker (and thus longer) - likely to be from the Propecia?

Ha never heard of propecia helping eyelashes, but I guess why not? Unless you thin there's something else you have changed that may have helped ? Diet / fitness / face cream.
So would you say that it has had the impact on your life that you were hoping for?

Most certainly, the confidence is off the chart. I look younger and still now manage to surprise myself when I catch a reflection from time to time.

That's great!
Your hair will thicken in the next few months, however, it may be difficult to capture it on the camera. Congrats on the growth.

Looking good....would be great to see a photo of it wet and combed back so we can see the hairline if that's cool

Hi guys,
Not much to report his month, I'm sure there have been improvements made, but its quite difficult to tell as I think all the new hair has come through, and it just thickening of the news hair taking place now? The hair when wet certainly looks thicker.
I have attached a pic of the hair when wet and combed, the actual hairline itself wasn't adjusted in the surgery, it was just padded out within. Hope it helps,
Thanks as always for the support,

The image is not the best quality but from what I can see your hairline looks natural.

Hi,
Apologies for the late update. Nothing major to report, can't believe it is two weeks away from being a year! It has gone so quick, something I didn't think would happen. I recently bought some Toppik fibres, here is a pic with a light dusting. So happy with the result!
Thanks guys,

Be good to see a clearer picture without any concealer, your hair looks good from what I can see.
