Hi

Great pictures really like that design you got , that's great the redness gone already you must be a good healer , try not to get to concerned about the transplanted upper surface hairs falling out they will be back , what I done was set myself some goals with training and other things to keep me occupied during the waiting stage in fact am doing the same now , its going to look awesome mate just keep positive and good to here your back on the foam
Have a great night

So one month post op . All of the transplanted hairs have fell out as expected . Heads a lot reader than I expected since starting exercising again. Guess this will go in time.
It feels like I have actually lost some of the existing hair I had at the front prior to surgery but who knows .
I can however see black dimples and very small hairs coming through dont know if this is normal

Cant believe how slow my non transplanted hair seems to be growing back not even 1/2 inch in some areas in a month !

Mine grows very slow too so I take MSM 1000mg and Biotin 500ug from justvitamins.co.uk
1 MSM tablet a day and one Biotin a day and my hair grows a hell of a lot faster than it did dude.

Hi Mate

the redness will diminish in time its different for everyone and I for one and probably many others can identify with this even more so after training , if you had any shock loss in the exiisting hair that was their it should come back just keep positive , I see BN is giving some suggestions to you to help with the existing hair good luck with that , its all going to workout mate let it take its course have agreat night

No probs dude ;) quick tip the MSM are very large so i break mine in half with a knife as they are hard to swallow.

Cheers , I normally take B complex but when I looked at the biotin levels they were no where near the amount of that tablet your taking.
Lots of mixed reviews on its effectiveness for speeding up hair growth. That msm appears to have a lot of benefits from fat loss to recovery interesting , illl see how I get on

Yea give Msm a try, hopefully it works.
Your native hair may be taking longer to grow due to the trauma on the scalp but it will recover. The redness can be explained as sunburn if anyone says anything.

Hi Mate , thanks for asking ! in all honesty they have not made any difference , ill be 2 months post op by the end of this week and my hair has grown 1 inch which is pretty poor . More concerning for me is that I seem to have lost a lot of the existing hair which was in the implant area in addition this hair appears to be not growing at all !

Hi Mate
It gets pretty tuff sometimes waiting for the new hair to come in just a few more weeks and things will start to happen , I here what your saying about losing existing hair when I went for the crown work the crown had really shrunk in as i was using the meds but after my HT I know I lost some of that hair , hopefully everything will come back to normal as far as I know the average persons hair grows around 1/2 -3/4 inch per month , keep positive and wishing you great growth thanks for posting.

Thanks for the reply. I would really hope the existing hair grows back otherwise it seems like a weird process to go through sacrificing existing hairs for the sake of implant grafts. However , its the overall result that matters 12 months down the line.
I been back to School now this week so ill be flat out with work at least for the next 10 weeks so hopefully this will help to take my mind of the whole thing
I had my hair shaved at the back and sides down to a length I would have normally had prior to my procedure , I have too say that even with the clippers down to 9mm cut the donor area looks exactly the same to me as it did prior really happy about that

Hi mate,
It sounds as though you've had some shock loss which will grow back, your hair and scalp has suffered trauma and some people just react differently. Try not to worry and the hair will grow before you know it.

Thanks for asking. I am just over the 3 and a half month stage. Nothing to report really can see the odd hair here and their but it feels like I have less hair in the implant area than I hadbefore the procedure if I am honest. My existing hairs in the implant zone have literally grown at half the rate of my other other existing hairs, just over 1 inch since 8th July :-(.
I am really happy with the donor area , its impossible to notice any difference even when shaved down to about 9mm , which is impressive .
Early days I suppose going from the timeline of regrowth on the prohairclinic site you should on average be able to expect 10% regrowth at my stage. I had been hoping for faster growth than this as I am a user of finasteride and regaine foam since 2011.
I will put an update with pics on at the 4 month stage which will be saturday the 8th November.
