A spot appearing on implanted zone 5 weeks post surgery

Dear Hair loss suffers

I am 5-6 weeks post operation after 6425 hairs were implanted via FUE in Budapest.

Just like to express a slight concern and was wondering if anyone could offer some advice €“ i seem to have developed a small reddish spot on the implanted frontal zone 1 over the past week €“ i don €™t know if this is natural or an acne spot , it €™s not sore. Do you recommend any cream or to leave it? - Is this natural? - It does not itch but when I press it does feel sore.

I look worse than before my transplant with all the hair now shed and the red on the implanted frontal zone. - I was using Head and Shoulders shampoo- but now I will revert back to Baby Organic shampoo as it could be the shampoo I am using, which maybe too strong!?

Attached a photo and circled it - has anyone else experienced this?

You have a pimple which could be Folliculitis which is usually a trapped hair under the surface or a build up of Bacteria. Apply a warm damp cloth to it for a few minutes a couple of times a day, this should help clear it. I personally squeezed any I had and applied some anti biotic cream which did the trick.

Don't worry about it too much as they are very common after a hair transplant.

So it's an ingrown hair??[):h::

Is this cause for concern? - Will it effect the outcome of my implanted zone?

It is most likely an ingrown hair which means its trapped under the skin and should free itself with the methods I stated, if its just bacteria build up, ie a spot then it too should clear with the previous suggestions.

It won`t affect your HT.

Hey - Thanks for advice...I had used a warm hand towel and brushed it gently - it did popped and then bleed a little....is that right? it's still there but looks less big!! - It's a bit like acne in a way!? - But not beard it's hair follicles! Well, i look at the positive - at least I know there is hair beneath and growing lol.

I don't care if the surgeons say I should leave it because I am not walking around with a big pimple on my head lol. It will look worse - I have a smaller one the other side. ;;::::/

You`re fine at this stage post op, no need to worry about a few pimples. They are annoying but nothing to worry about.

Thanks for reassurance BM - You said you had pimples too and squeezed them? DId it affect hair growth after? They are very annoying ...yes...BUT and do they go away? Did you apply cream or lotion? My pimples have burst /popped but still looks red.- attached latest photo.

Sorry won't keep asking all these questions...I know you're not a doctor ...LOL:::C

I had some general anti sceptic cream I applied after I popped them. Only puss and the odd dormant hair came out. It should not affect the growth of your transplanted hair.The redness will subside soon.

I appreciate your time - Just you can understand my concerns after all this money and time going abroad for surgery for sure only (so far) - Most/All implanted hairs shedding, implanted zone still red, numb and itchy and now pimples developing and I look worse that ever before. It can only get better for sure.

Healed but my donor area - feels lumpy like there are spots there.

Can't see much now to tell! Too much hair! - Compare below pic with above taken back on 29th December.

Well, my natural hair loss is still thinning especially the crown! Almost 11 months post surgery.

A little bit of a comb over but not even noticeable - just ad a few sprinkles of nanogen fibres with locking mist and i have a full head of hair. - Before I couldn't.
