A word of warning

Trying to get an Acell update over the past 2 weeks I had a brief consult with one of NY's Top T-plant Dr's office.

I was told several patients from the Hitzig's office were starting to come over to various offices for massive repair!!...This was after the his false claims of better scars and hair multiplication lured them into his chair!

It seems as stated many times in the past that his practice is again using smoke and mirrors trying to get new uninformed patients into his office.

Being an Acell tester myself .....not from his office "THANK GOD"....on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best projected outcome I'd place it around a 3 at best..........

His office false claims in the past IS the reason for all my past Transplant woes spanning a time period of over 12 years and counting thanks to his oval punch techniques

Hitzig's office is claiming a 12 or better on his Acell results!!.....

Stay far, far away from his office!!!

Pvtpoint same reply as the other forum as it is important. One thing I have learned over the years and it did take me a very long time is not to believe the marketers. One of the hardest things for me to give up as I grew older was to stop reading fitness and health magazines for information as you get locked into the marketing regardless of if you are aware of it or not. It is only when I switched to reading books and listening to those with experience as opposed to those with something to sell did I really start to learn something and my eyes were opened. Same goes for the HT business. Too many of the forums are used to hype and market and the truth is usually pushed down the list or simply deleted. It's also the reason I took a cue from a recent friend and stopped watching TV. It's a passive device and regardless the marketing does have it's effect. Most young people will not do this as the hypnotic spell is too hard to break so there will always be victims.

Pvtpoint thanks for taking the time to come on to the forums and post the truth as you now see it, that takes some balls as most just move on without saying a word. Nobody wants to waste money or have bad results but in order to help others the forums really depend on patients for the truth.

I always thought it was complete bullshit and not because I was trying to be negative or be an a-hole. But there simply were zero pictures available which made no sense. Just a few doctors asking for others to believe them. I think it €™s high time for enough of this nonsense.

I would also add that those that come to the forums and just read should probably post or add comments. It keeps it from becoming a passive marketing device and is probably better for you as a prospective patient in the long run.

These Drs should be ashamed of themselves ....

In my opinion, Acell should not be touted as a one shop scar eliminator... and especially in FUE. I have seen some clinics posting pictures of FUE donors areas and claim that Acell regrew the entire extracted areas.

Acell does have unusual properties that points towards decreased scarring, inhibiting bacterial growth, decreasing healing times, or in other applications... actually growing severed limbs. This is why it was brought into this field of medicine.

Having said this, and as topcat points out... marketeers have tried to take advantage of this unusual properties that are established in other fields of medicine.

Now I believe that there could be a benefit with the use of Acell, however it should never be marked up in price, should never be "promised" in terms of any outcome, AND a full disclosure be made very clear to the patient... my two cents.

There's not too much info/studies on Acell regrowth, lots of expectations let down.
