Advice on high-graft Hair Transplant

Hi All,

Thanks in advance for your help.

I am sadly balding into my late-20's and after considering it for around 2 years, am now ready to take the plunge with a hair transplant. I did take Fin for a short-while but didnt carry on as wasn't prepared to take medication for the rest of my life to prevent loss. For reference, I am probably a Norwood 4.

My friend recommended Longevita in Turkey, and I have also done consultations with 5-6 other companies based in Turkey - my favourites have been Longevita and Suzermedclinic, which I am looking to proceed with one of them.

Both clinics have recommended I need 4000-4500 grafts. Longevita have recommended I do this in two sittings, one being 2000-2500 on the hairline, and then a further 2000-2500 on the crown further down the line (approx 12 months). However, Suzermedclinic has advised I can do this (4000-4500) in one sitting. Also, Suzermedclinic advise I stay 3 nights, 4 days for aftercare, and Longevita have said 2 nights, 2 days is fine.

Does anyone have any advice as to the different options? My friend has 4500 in one sitting with Longevita, so not sure why advice is different? Currently thinking to book with Longevita, ask them to do what they can, and then return in 12 months if I need to for another. But is the days aftercare important?

Many thanks,

Being a Norwood 4 you are at risk of progressing to a higher Norwood. If you go ahead with surgery, you need to make sure they plan for future loss and plant accordingly.
The reason they have quoted differently could be the doctor or tech team that did your friend aren`t available and whoever will be performing yours is not capable of the larger procedure.
Do you have any pictures showing your current hair loss?
