hi all, thankyou everyone for your comments.

topcat, thankyou for your comments, you have gave me something to think about.

every time i have been to a consultation wherever it may be, they inspect my hair and state that i need ????? grafts.

i have attached a picture, i have marked the areas i want to rectify, and this is what i always tell the clinics at consultations.

areas 1 and 2 clearly are not growing and so require the most work,

area 3 needs work in the sense its thinning all the time so needs to be increased in density.

as for the crown area 4 that has also been mentioned as an area that will require some work.

im not sure about how much grafts i need or hairs, i just want to know what would make it look natural, especially the front and sides.

i have been using propecia but i dont really know if it is making a difference as i my hair has been short for some time now.

You need to decide whether you want to go the conservative or aggressive route. Everyone is different and thinks in different ways. In life there are cautious people and people who are willing to take more of a risk.

Obviously I fall into the latter category and will be biased to that because I've had good results. But I was a virgin patient and went to a world class Doctor from the start.

Then there are people (repair cases) who've been butchered or received poor HTs from crappy Doctors. These people will be overly cautious and will be biased towards that.

There is probably a good medium in between both approaches.

Hope this helps.

Taking a risk in this industry could ruin your life.

Indeed, but it could also completely change your life for the better....there are two ways to look at everything.

Sparky,
Do you think you would have different views if you went to BHR first when you needed a HT?

I know my views would be different if I went to some hack instead of Dr. Rahal.

I never needed an HT, i'm still not a natural NW2.

Of course, absolutely nobody NEEDS a HT, that is a no brainer.

But I am sure you can see the point I am making.
