Appropriate surgeon for my level of loss?

Hi everyone, first time poster here.

Bit of background - I am 35 years old - a Canadian who lives in Berlin. I first shaved my head a few months shy of my 34th birthday.

I am wondering if anyone might have good advice on surgeons who perform FUE on advanced stage hairloss such as myself. From these pics I sent Dr Muresanu, he classified me as a Norwood 4 Vertex, possibly Norwood 5.

I'm scheduled for a consultation with BHR clinic around September, and Dr Muresanu of Hattingen Hair in this coming June.

Dr Bisanga and the Muresanus are world class surgeons. But I realise Hattingen is better known for moving a tremendous amount of hair in FUT procedures, which I am cautious to avoid. I also don't see BHR posting many FUE jobs on cases like mine.

Would anyone have suggestions that would be appropriate? Surgeons in or outside the EU I missed?

P.S. I posted photos of how my hair looked when I was still sporting a combover. I've had a shaved head for about a year and a half now.

Hello Blixar. Its hard to assess the level of loss because the picture quality is poor. II’ll go by the assessment by Dr Muresanu that youre a 4-5 on the Norwood scale. I would say a minimum of 4000 to give you a result you’ll be happy with.
Both clinics you mentioned have a good track record with the higher norwoods. I would also consider the other Belgium clinic listed on here. You can view their results in the clinic section further down the forum page. One that comes to mind is this result, although it’s over 5000 grafts. 5000 graft HT
Are you on a hair loss prevention regimen?
You said you were keen to avoid moving a large number of grafts. Was this you're keen avoid FUT and have FUE?

Thanks for your response, and sorry the pictures are literally old VHS quality. An accomplished photographer I am not!

And wow wow wow, thanks for sending me the results of that megasession with Dr F, I'm blown away!

As for my regimen - I sadly just finished an unsuccessful 2 month experiment with Finasteride - both as a low dose oral ( .25 mg) and 0.1% topical. In both cases, the side effects I experienced were neurological - very bad brainfog. I tried every other day - nothing seemed to work.

Currently waiting to receive shipments of topical Dutasteride and low dose oral minoxidil - fingers crossed. I've seen people reporting that they experienced sides with topical Fin, but not with topical Dut - that would be a lifesaver for me!
In the meantime, I'm using Fluridil with no sides at all.

As for your last question - I can see now my wording was pretty unclear! I am totally keen to move a large number of hair, just not with the FUT method.

Hi Blixa, Sorry to hear you got brain fog, my nephew gets it also. Hopefully, the Dutasteride and oral minoxidil work with no issues As continued hair loss will have an impact on any hair transplant result.
Check through the clinic and patient results if you wish to consult with more clinics.
