B,

at two weeks you appear to be healing very nicely, and your scar is REALLY clean! What do you mean by the 'normal/dry' shots, because your hair appears to be dry to me in all the pics; am I missing something? Your wearing concealer in the second set right?

Anyway, looking good & your one week ahead of me! Z:B

Looking real good at two weeks,no one would know that you`ve had a HT looking at those pictures.

Your donor scar is looking very good already.

Whats your secret to this quick healing,a few drams of Scotlands finest,if so i may have to change my tipple.

Cheers bm.

Hi,

NG2GB
Sorry I wasn't very clear. You're right the hair is dry in all the shots as I think it's pretty clear when it's brushed out of the way (i.e. uncovered) how the work is looking. The dry really refers to the second set of pics where I've brushed it across the various bits as i would normally, prior to putting on any concealer -but no, there's no concealer used in any of the pics.

NCB & BM
Thanks. Yes it's amazing the way it's healing. I didn't think it would look so good at just 14 days. I look at the crown now and can bearly tell it's had anything done to it. The front is more noticeable only because there are still a few of the graft hairs currently still there.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi folks,

I've uploaded a few short vids onto YouTube. Sadly I don't have a BBC camera operator on standby so some are better than others but hopefully they'll help show things a little more than just a photo.

Great looking for 2 weeks. The scar is certainly one of those "pencil thin" that you hear about. Will not be visible in 1 year.

I was confused also about your pics but it truly is amazing the difference of your crown when your hair is combed back. I would have thought concealor was used also. Very cool.

Cool that you made so many videos, very informative and great shots of the work. Looks like your coming along very nicely.

Yes I'm lucky in that my hair has loads of volume when it's dry which means that using Toppik or Nanogen fibres works really well with it. Plus I've got just enough hair to cover the bits that need it. LOL I've actually had more bother from a couple of the staple holes than I have from the scar (which has been no bother at all).

Thanks - it turned out to be a lot harder to get decent shots and vids than I'd thought. In the end I had to use an older camera and borrow another for the vids. Lighting is everything. The work is just great which means the only thing that could cause problems would be shockloss so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi Baldspot,

Good to see your progress pictures. Not much to write home about at 3 month mark for most people. Next month you should see a bit more. How's the scar line coming along?
