I saw that Groupon offer for the discount hair transplant. My jaw almost hit the ground.

The poor patients who accept it have no idea of the misery and expense that awaits them.

Wait until you can afford a good doc or pay 5-10 times as much getting it repaired.

I understand you are concerned with your hair loss it can definitely get you down at times. If you do your research there are some great doctor that will give you a free consultation in person or photo. I read some reviews on here whilst determining whether i would commit to a procedure in the UK. I was looking through "Mens Health Magazine" and came across a glossy advertisement from a company called SHS (Specialisy Hair Surgery). I could not find anything bad about them online, come to think of it i could not find anything at all. Through caution to the wind and arranged a free no obligation consultation (free consult 1st potential mistake). Turns out that SHS is the former notorious NORTON Clinic (Wakefield) luckily the details provided on the phone about the clinic location, and the penny fell. Hope this aids all of you that have offered valuable information on avoiding these guys.

Hi am also in the same situation - and seen the offer from Dr Theodoros Vernikos (his website realhairclinic.co.uk with theoffer for FUE treatment - so is it safe to assume to avoid treatment from this guy??
cost being a factor who would be a recommendable surgeon? am happy to travel if neccessary

I actually have heard about Dr. Theodoros Vernikos, my cousin was treated by Dr Vernikos at real hair clinic last year and he was very happy with the results. It was too expensive in my opinion but I really can't argue with the results and the healing process seemed surprisingly short...
I am also looking for a surgeon, I won't be surprised if it will be Theodoros Vernikos - though I am still kind of short money wise.
