He specifically said the left hand side of my hairline was thinning.

Comparison between now and 2015

Frontal shot 2025 vs 2015

Hairline (tried to get the newest as close as possible in terms of light) 2015 vs 2016

Then this is outside 2025

I was at my parents after work and asked their opinion, mom said she could see some thinning in the corner on the left side, till I showed the 2015 image and she said it looked the same - but don’t know if she’s just saying this to ease me.

Honestly do you see any loss of density, change or shape or thinning?

The comment was made when my hair was damp under a florescent light - I said my hairs damp but he made the announcement in front of colleagues so it was a little uncomfortable.

Oldest pics I’m 24/25. I’m 35 this year.

Our hair natural matures as we age and thinning is not necessarily due to male pattern hair loss. The body goes though changes, skin wrinkles appear, the hair also changes, some hairs thin slightly and a hairline will begin to look slightly less defined compared to earlier years, it´s natural. The central apex is low and your hair appears to be healthy and strong, for your age you have happily maintained a hairline that frames your face well.

Given the different lighting it’s hard to be sure but in your last photos with the bands on it seems the area you are talking about is similar to how it was at the same angle in 2015 so I think you are ok

your hair looks good at 35. there is no need to take meds. you might consider a lighter treatment down the stretch (e..g. vitamines, prp, msm, laser cap)

Your hair loss is not significant, you can consider multivitamins or PRP treatment.
