Concerned about picture of the back of my head

So I’ve posted before and generally been told my hair is fine, but my crown constantly bothers me. My hair is light straight and find and I always check my crown under a harsh bathroom light which provably doesn’t help.

This is the image which has concerned me;

I know I’ve got a parting or something next to my crown but I worry the crown is becoming more prominent, or the parting is. I also appreciate that the newer camera are capturing more light and more detail than the old images and it’s not vastly different compared to 13 years ago - but the initial image has me concerned - unless I am seeing it worse that others would as I don’t see that angle of my head.

Do you see any change over the years?

Fyi the last image is from the same day as the first image, so it looked different from the family photo.

Our hair changes as we age and mature, the changes can be hair quality, calibre, or coarseness, our skin changes also, we get wrinkles as we age. The crown is an area of varying hair orientations, as the hair grows out from the spiral. As a result some changes may expose the scalp. This doesn´t mean it´s male pattern baldness, although you may want to look at male family members. If you are concerned then it´s a good time to start a hair loss treatment, before the area opens.

Hi Marty. Your crown still looks good. There is little to no difference that stands out when comparing your pictures. As mentioned by Understanding Hair, look at male family members. If any did noticeably lose hair then you could consider the hair loss meds.
What age are you now?
