Dr Arshad, The Hair Dr

I feel disappointed if I’m 100% honest.

I absolutely think it looks better than before any surgery but at the same time it’s not as good as it should be given the number of grafts.

Given the money I spent and the number of grafts used (which are arguably more important than money due to limited supply) I feel I should have a denser frontal third.
The crown is better than before but still not good enough.

I’ve gone from a look of “balding” to a look of “still balding but not quite as bad”. Yes it looks natural which is better than a poor unnatural looking hair line so a positive there.

I question “how much better could this be if I went to a to Dr such as Bissanga?”

It’s frustrating when you see so many get much better results with less grafts, less cost and in many instances from supposedly questionable clinics in Turkey.
Appreciative of the fact we all have different variables that play a part in our results but I’ve seen many results of hair similar to mine in calibre and hair loss pattern with much better results.

I still have more time for things to improve but overall a feeling of disappointment.

Some people have said my hair looks better, which I know it does, but also some who expected more- based on the it own transplants.

I see your points and tend to agree. The front should be denser considering the number of grafts used. It is fair to compare to others in a similar situation. Whilst there may be some differences you do get an approximate expectation of what to expect.
When a clinic shows examples to prospective patients they give them an idea of what should be an appropriate result. You`re not shown a Norwood 5 before picture who gets 5000 grafts, then an after picture showing growth from maybe half that. Clinics and patients alike have to compare something.

See what happens in the next 3 months. Gaining some opinions from other clinics in the meantime is an option for you.

It does look natural, not pluggy or fake which is good.

I`m sorry that you`re still disappointed after 2 surgeries.

Thanks @Bigmac
I am appreciative that I still have another 3+ months for the final result so things may well improve but had hoped for more density at this stage.

I will note that the clinic have been very good in their aftercare and very supportive with me so am in no way knocking their professionalism or the way they have treated me.

It’s definitely an improvement from where you were mate, albeit I know it’s taken more grafts than you had initially intended. Are you happy with your result? A good way I measure my progress is comparing to how manageable it was pre procedure (styling, rain, how it looks at the barbers, windy weather etc).

Are you able to post update pictures with your hair combed forward and in natural sunlight (at a window)?

The density has improved with your hairline looking much better. You have styling options now. Your donor looks good at the length you have it.
Are you still thinking of having another surgery?

I think perhaps another surgery in the future to add a bit more density at the front and thicken up the crown, I’m not in any rush for another surgery though, as my hair is now decent enough to not worry about having to style it in a certain way to hide thinning areas as much now

Good to hear your hair is decent enough now that you don`t need to think about cover up styles.

Hello mate, just came across your post.
I’ve also had terrible results from Dr Arshad. When you raise any concerns, all they do is tell you it looks good and expect you to be happy with it. The place is a joke.
Like I’ve said in previous posts, you pay for results and the hair dr just isn’t delivering. It’s day light robbery
