Hi big mac I was applying it morning and evening if I start to apply only in the evening then when fingers crossed I'm satisfied with the results of the transplant then decide to stop will I get another shed on the transplanted hair?

It’s quite possible you will get a shed, it may all happen at once, staggered or may not shed. Hair loss, growth etc does its own thing.
If you’re afraid of a big shed, maybe it’s best you don’t use it.

Hair cut looks decent. I can see the transplanted area taking shape a lot easier now.

8 weeks post surgery is quickly approaching. I hope that this recovery stage has passed reasonably quickly for you considering the lockdown and current situation.
Do you feel that lockdown has been a help in the respect that you have been easily able to maintain your privacy post op, or has the constant "home time" made things feel so much more intense and slower as a result?

Hi Ian I'm sure the lockdown has made it easier and time funny as it sounds has gone quite quick I cant believe I'm nearly at 8 weeks hopefully the next few month's seem as quick.
Definitely being in the UK instead of were I originally planned to be in Cyprus has probably made it easier they are having a heatwave its over 40 degrees over there in the UK I'm going shopping and for walks without wearing a hat not really noticeable because I keep it really short I just look like a balding man I suppose when when I start to see growth I will have to come up with a good explanation

Even though you are 8 weeks post surgery be careful in the Sun, keep your scalp covered if possible, or use sunscreen. Cyprus is crazy hot right now, I could not handle that heat.

All looks to be healing well. The redness in the recipient area can linger for a while, try not to scratch it if it itches. Make sure you don`t get Sunburn in this hot weather.

It`s quite amazing seeing the front of your head filling in with hair plus your donor supply looks very healthy if you ever think of adding more.

Your hairline is taking shape now, the density will begin filling in more in the coming months. You have enough hair there now to add hair fibres if you wanted a fuller look now.
As Kevboy pointed out, your donor looks very healthy, no sign of thinning.
Thanks for the update.

You have received some great and positive comments from the community. I would echo their sentiments. Good early signs of growth at 4 months. Im looking forward to see your evolution over the next several months.

Some fun months ahead.

Thanks for the photos. I have added side by side images for easier comparison.

Hi Welwyn.
You would never know you suffered any hair loss looking at your pictures, I had to look at your pre op again to confirm you had lost hair. For 6 months it`s great and another 6 months to go.
What have people said to you about it?
Thanks for the update.
